Roneblack46 Posted May 14, 2017 Share Nope. BB30 frame. Using a Wheels Manufacturing Eccentric BB. Runs a shimano 24mm crank. Gives me 12mm of adjustability to tension at the BB. So most likely I can get 2 cog sizes per chain. May have to adjust saddle height and distance from stem length ever so slightly. Luckily I ride mostly in Gauteng so will keep the 34/17 most of the time.

PhilipV Posted May 14, 2017 Share So after doing this, My hardtail is now back to this. Made it home, removed the cassette, fitted a Rapide cog, put a DMR tensioner back on and suddenly I feel like a kid on the bike again. Winning. Grease_Monkey Posted May 16, 2017 Share Just wanna throw this out there (I know it comes down to preference, but I am just ineterested) - what handlebar widths are you all running on your mtb (29er) single speeds?
BaGearA Posted May 16, 2017 Share My bike is not SS anymore so probably doesn't qualify. But it is A hardtail and my crankbrothers carbon bar makes chatery stuff A lot easier on the wrists Grease_Monkey

RocknRolla Posted May 17, 2017 Share I got a Rapide bar, uncut it's extremely wide, like, a meter or something Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
PhilipV Posted May 17, 2017 Share 780mm. But it's the same on both my bikes. I like the added leverage. Grease_Monkey
