If in doubt, go faster - momentum will save your ass in a tricky technical section

Always think about where your pedals are in relation to rocks and roots

Spend less time in the bike shop and more time riding

Keep your bike clean, it'll work better that way

Go FULL TILT all the time.

Pedal on the downhills, flat out (put a 56 or 58 blade on the front)

After you have pedaled the downhills fake a cramp or mechanical to save embarrassment from being dropped.

Race your mates , all the time.

Pump your road tires to 11 bar ,it makes you faster.

Keep your suspension in lockout mode, all the time, it will feel like you are racing with a hardtail.

Eat bananas and gels all the time.

Ride at heart rate level being at 80 % + all the time.

Ride in the middle of the road.

Put on the thinnest most uncomfortable saddle you can lay your hands on, it will look cool.

Buy a hardtail

For god's sake boys.....put some shorts on over those grape smuggling harnesses.

Girls...keep up the good work.

Haha that was the best advice of them all :)

+ Carry a spoke wrench, chain breaker and chainlinks on every ride
