I went back to the left hand side and as soon as it was safe slammed on the brakes. Kugels left and right of us ..... some on the gravel shoulder and one ending up on her backside in the grass....slow fall not hurt but full of dust and ego bust. En toe vloek die klomp vloekwoorde wat ek in die Army laas gehoor het!!!!!! We just fell back and stayed 50m or so behind them and as we got into the finishing straight sprinted past them laughing all the way!!!!!!!

Gee a real man's man. Safe for who? Your'e actions were not condusive to safe riding. It does not matter, if they were on your wheel for 50k's. No one deserves that kind of treatment.

Tosser????? ..... with your small weenie you have most likely forgotten what it means.

If you are behind me and do what they did and after repeated warnings that I am going to slow down I hope you fall your whole lower chin away!!!!!!!!! You and your type of wheelsitter abusers and users of other are lower that whale sh!t and whale sh!t are lower than sea level!!!!!!!

You were not there and you have no right at all to critizise my actions. I am a responsible cyclist and will only do such things if the situation warrants it. Maybe I was not explicit enough in my description for your overly macho and estosterone ridden taste you b*b**n!!!! ..... no for your type the word may not be politically correct because you will now start calling me a racist and bigot..... let me call you a buffoon!!!!!!!

Yup - switching ladies and making them crash - setting a great example for your wife there oomy or was she on the back of the tandem cheering you on while you pulled your hero move on the "kugels".

I can't see any situation that would make purposely crashing other cyclists warranted.

Maybe one day you could aspire to being to the dizzying heights of shark's ****'s shadow.

Tosser.

When we were still actively cycling on our tandem in SA we were always in the first groups to start. We were never fast and the groups used to pass us as the race went on. Those that scared me the most were the "Jack Russels".... the U/16's. The worst were the ladies..... bitching cussing and moaning. The rest were OK but the V's and VB's had the worst manners. Screaming and shouting .... and sometimes obscnities as were kept our line.... maybe slowly but kept our line. They showed no respect even with EM present on the back of the Tandem. That was embarressing to say the least..... not all but it regularly happened. I even remember some Hubbers doing that on a Hyper to Hyper.

The worst of all were the lower bunches. During a Carousel Race. We were on our way to do a sub 3 and pushing quite hard for two old people. We heard this group behind us. A lady said "Ah a Tandem, lets get behind them" Quite soon they were on our tail.... a bunch of maybe 20 cyclists mostly women. After about five minutes I moved over and asked one of the kugels to lead and the bitch said "f*ck you we will stay right behind you and let you do the work". I moved right over to the right hand gutter and still the whole bunch followed.

I will never cease to be amazed just how far removed your cute avatar and "grandfather of..." sub-title are at 180 degrees from your hub persona and - it seems - your real world personality too.

How many moons orbit your home planet, that you believe that brake-testing people sufficiently that they crash is acceptable behaviour?

to even contemplate that this is either acceptable or funny leads me to think youve spend too much time in Nigerian traffic , you could have just slowed down until they were forced to pass, plonker

Tosser dude - not plonker

There are few things in life that bring down my red mist but switching is one of them.

The last time I was switched (by a tandem nogal) there was a brawl in a parking lot with the stoker trying to seperate the pilot and I. Guess who won the fight? Thats right. Nobody. It was stupid.

Switching is akin to stabbing someone in the back while they're blindfolded, bound and gagged...the ultimate coward move.

Breath Eldron breath!!!

Phew.

OK - I'm over it :)
