Contador - CAS ruling. (All things Contador/doping - merged)

What does this mean?

I think Conti is a knob, you don't win the Currie Cup in May, and you don't win the tour in the first week. Trying to take a stage says he wants to take back what he lost 2/3 days ago, like an upset school bully. What does he want to do - win the TOUR or the daily racing?

Im no LA fanboy, but his stratgey was near perfect for 7 yeasr - he wouldn't have attacked where it didn't suit his style to try and gain a couple of dseconds.

I do not see Contador as a "bully". I think all bullying was done for him since he was a small boy by his mother. She has proven herself well.

top riders in the tour this year are the ones featuring the least at this stage.

thumbup1.gif I'm also banking on this, especially in terms of my TDF comp GC riders. Scoreline is looking a tad pitiful thus far.

Hijack over. I'll grab my yellow jersey (with polka dots) and head for the door.

Leave my yellow jersey alone, so far i'm the only hubber entitled to wear it!!

He's an Italian rider isnt he? Pronounced Scora-leenee.

Dont worry I'm sure he'll pick up.

Better than hopping from woman to woman to woman that all look like your Mom.

This is an interesting bit. -

"[The] UCI asked [that] all his results between the day of the control and the first day of the suspension to be disqualified (according art 10.8 of WADA code and art 313 of UCI antidoping rules). Obviously CAS could take a different decision, which we would accept without any problem," said UCI spokesman Enrico Carpani.

The way I read this statement is -(lets say hypothetically he is found guilty) Cas can still rule he keeps his results.

Everyone seems to think they are automatically nullified......but if I read this statement correctly, that is not the case at all.??

Andy must be the most frustrated of all, imagine sitting waiting to hear if you have won the Tour or not ??

Convenient because now he could race the Vuelta on the 20 August!! A Spanish race after a Spanish arbitration found him 'not guilty' but I read now that he has decided not to ride it.

I think he was asked (and payed alot of money) not to win this year just incase he was found guilty. Imagine stripping him of 2 titles. It will bring the TdF down like a led balloon.

I was also kind of wondering about that.
