  1. Past hour
  2. I bought the 20" for my girl's 6th birthday and ended up giving it a few months early while she was still 5 because the 16" was just to small and she is about average height for her grade.
  3. So you phoned a guy and asked if the Carbon Pro has internal routing https://titanracingbikes.com/bikes/switch-gen2-pro/ Looks like it does. So you might have a different model? beyond that, obviously you've paid your money, but your tone and attempt to illicit an online response by tagging the company is such a Karen move. maybe it works for you,
  4. 100% on this. 20" might be a bit big for a 5yr old anyway. We started on 12" balance bikes and never needed fairy wheels. I just see people struggling with them. you don't learnt to walk with crutches!
  5. I have a pair of these and very happy. Great for SA winters as they aren’t too bulky: https://www.foxracing.co.za/products/33803-w26-ranger-fire-glove
  6. It's always annoying when people say things to make a sale when they actually don't know. It doesn't take away from their overall product offering, value and quality for me but I can understand why you are frustrated.
  7. My 6 year old is on a 20" with gears now and it allows her to ride hills and routes around town she couldn't with her 16" single speed. For the 16", single speed was perfect as her first pedal bike. Also as mentioned above both girls transitioned from balance bike to pedaling instantly without needing training wheels.
  8. I looked at it.. I fear it may be too advanced. Something without gears makes more sense to me at this stage. I want to avoid anything that could put her off cycling as she learns. I had a bike that was too big and heavy as a kid and hated it. Took me years to get back in to bikes after that. (no training wheel too). I want her to understand the freedom and autonomy that cycling brings.. Basic rules.. Then incentivise her by removing the wheels when she is ready.. Hopefully this will work.

  10. My advice is to avoid training wheels Rather spend the time learning to balance from the start It's a much more invested way to go for the parents, but the kid doesn't then have to re learn the fundamentals of riding a bike again later
  11. One word "Bliksom"!!!! One sexy machine you got there.
  12. Small upgrade from my Lelit. I love that the La Pavoni is a a little more interactive, definitely not a beginner friendly machine. Dropped OPV to 8.5 and replaced the pressure guage with a grouphead thermometer. Find it much more accurate than a PID. Very long heat up time, but nothing a smart plug couldn't fix.
  13. Hi Looking for a Zwift Run pod, or a Garmin SDM4. Or any alternatives for accurate speed readings for Zwift on a treadmill? Thanks

  15. who you calling tall huh...?
  16. This is definitely a situation you must've faced before given your vertical challenges 😉
  17. Pinging @Titan Racing Bikes while I’m popping the kernels 🍿
  18. The Empire model is routed that way with their prime 1 piece handlebar. Take the fork out and see if the fork is cut for it. Cant believe that they would make 2 versions of the same fork. The tooling and moulding would just be to expensive
  19. So I just need to rant about my current disappointment with Titan Racing bikes. I own one of their hardtail MTB's and absolutely love the bike. Thus I had to issue looking at them as a brand when I was searching for a gravel bike. With the recent launch of the Switch Gen 2 I was intrigued. Stock was moving fast and getting hold of a dealer with stock took some searching. I was eyeing the Carbon Pro model as it had everything I wanted/needed on a bike. I prefer internal cable routing and this particular model had external routing. So I called Titan Racing head office before pulling the trigger and spoke to a helpful gentlemen enquiring if I can swop handlebars in future and change routing to internal routing. I was assured that it can be done as all Switch models have the same frame etc and that headset, spacers etc will need to be swopped. This was reassuring and I pulled the trigger on the bike. Now two weeks later I was thinking of doing the modifications and surprise surprise now I'm told by the dealer I purchased from and Titan Racing themselves that such a change is not possible. Why give me the wrong impression in the first place when I clearly asked about this? Do you really know that little about your own product? All in all, I'm done with the @Titan Racing Bikes brand after this. Expensive lesson learned, I will sell my Titan bikes and move on. Absolutely disgusted by this.
  20. Remarkable that the race was not neutralised or shortened due to the angry weather gods. Many suggest that the Giro should be swopped with the Vuelta as the climate is a relatively better around Spain than on the Italian boot. Love it when the breakaway wins. Pic: Getty Images
  21. Thank you all for input
  22. We have a 20" in pink. https://titanracingbikes.com/bikes/player-jr-20-3/
