  1. As someone who earns commission as a tiny percentage of profit per sale in an industry where everyone bargains prices down to rock bottom, my comments and others comments on here have made me think about this. When it comes to subs I think about the product, whether it be content or an app, and what the value is to me before handing over money. DSTV I'm on the cheapest package, that just enough to keep the family entertained, Strava I paids subs the first time, did not renew after that as the value to me did not justify the cost, there are a few apps where the free versions was so useful to me I paid for the full version. I looked at websites and realised that if I could not access the content it would not make much difference in my life, therefore I wont subscribe. But I also realised that one needs to subscribe to multiple news/content sites in order to get a full picture. Perhaps if there was 1 site that had it all it might make it worth it, but then it might be to costly to subscribe. Catch 22 I guess.
  2. you're obviously searching for hot moms in suvs, hence the ads. I thought it was just me being a cheapskate and note wanting to pay for something that used to be free, so glad I'm not alone.

    Formula 1...

Not going to go through all 414 pages to check if its been mentioned, are there any streaming options (preferably cheap or free) to stream F1. Now that I have an android TV and can download streaming apps I'd like to start watching F1 and MotoGP again.
  4. Let us know how they perform, I hate sticking safety-pins through expensive tops
  5. having just been through the process of changing my saddle I can also say that the saddle setup can play a big part too.
  6. most of the attacks recently on the east of jhb have been 4 armed perps and 2 vehicles involved. I have run the scenarios though in my head, thinking of escape routes, defense etc. and the only one with a high chance of me getting out largely unscathed is the hands in the air and hand over the goods scenario. As much as it irks me, it is the option I will take.
  7. easyist would probably be to google the device and see. usually they are only compatible with one map type
  8. if this happens it will unfortunately escalate the situations and we will land up like car jackings where they shoot you first and then take your car.
  9. always a good idea to update. But first check which maps are compatible with your device
  10. the only reason I could think of for a tracking device is to get to the heart of the syndicates doing this. But we all know the chances of that happening are slim.
  11. actually alot of the cheaper tracking units for cars dont tap into the power, and they last a number of years on a battery. But they dont have to be as small as one that needs to be hidden on a bike.
  12. ahh ok.
  13. what do you mean by smash and grabbed ? will keep my eyes open for it
  14. I'll watch this at home when I have youtube access
  15. Yes Ural, not sure where he got it from. I'm pretty sure its a restore as the lights are modern and everything is pristine.
  16. My brother in law recently bought this. It’s surprising comfortable in the side car. No that’s not me climbing on the side car.
  17. sounds like the same guys that have been in the boksburg/kempton area. Small white car and white Ranger double cab. Its time some sort of trap be setup for these #$#$ers
  18. We passed that train early in the morning
  19. My longest ride ever. Total time was just over 8 hours as we stopped for breakfast at Circus, then also stopped at around 108km for drinks topup and snacks.
  20. I’m using iPhone 12. I find uploading directly from the phone my images come out upside down. but if I edit them, flip them upside down, save, edit again and flip them the right way then they upload fine.
  21. I didnt get very far into that article. It was painful to read, reads like someone that had a minimum word count quota to meet
  22. beware of this with Life Cover too. Many of the life cover providers dont do upfront underwriting. Dont let your spouse find out the hard way, ask up front.
  23. for the broken one, I've succesfully put a slightly longer bolt through with a low profile nut on the end, all loctited into place. Probably done about 10 000km with it like that. But that is on a Shimano 105 RD.
