  1. CSixx make exactly what you are looking for: cSixx / DHE / Eseries / Carbon Mullet Wheelset – cSixx Components Alternatively you could go for an absolutely bombproof alloy wheelset. DT Swiss EX511 Rims, Hope hubs, butted spokes and brass nipples. Those would last a lifetime. Nic from the wheelbuilder could help with a setup like that or a carbon option if you are dead set on that Wheel Builder - handbuilt bicycle wheels for all cyclists
  2. Congrats! Where was the second pic taken?
  3. Interesting. They were around 60 pounds when I bought them

No SMS here. Mailed and asked when it will arrive and was assured it will ????‍♂️
  5. Used the Funn Mambas in the past. They are good pedals for a lot less than the DMR Mamba | Funn – mountain bike components (funnmtb.com)
  6. Just want to share my experience with BikeHub Pay for everyone. I think it is a great way to protect yourself, especially when doing a big deal on a bike or components. I listed a bike for sale on a Thursday afternoon. By Friday morning I had a firm buyer via BikeHub Pay and the system was telling me to box the bike up and send it to the new owner. I clicked the button to get a shipping quote on the BikeHub pay portal and was promptly assisted by Triptych Resources. I boxed the bike up over the weekend and it was collected on Monday morning as promised. The buyer had his new bike on Wednesday morning and I was paid out on Thursday afternoon. Simple and painless!
  7. Yeah, got it off Thing verse. Also had some spacers made for my Pike so normal hub spacers fit better in the Torque Cap drop outs
  8. Friend of mine made me a SRAM b-gap tool
  9. Let us know what you end up with
  10. Depends what riding you are looking to do. The Stumpy is more of a trail bike that will climb well, but be a riot on the downs, whilst the Spark is more of a marathon type bike and will climb like a beast, but not be quite as composed on the downs. The deciding factor will be stock availability. I don't think either bike is available locally at the moment, so you might be waiting for a while to get a bike. Others to look at, Giant Trance 29, Trek Top Fuel, Trek Fuel EX, Specialized Epic Evo, Norco Fluid and Merida One Twenty. By no means an extensive list, but all worth having a look at
  11. Marketplace – Crank Brothers Mullet DH Race Pedals | Facebook There you go
  12. Is this for an oversquare or undersquare piston?
  13. Yes! Donald did make his own shock. I remember a few owners had some Fox and RS shocks installed as well
  14. Produx from back in the 90's. Made complete full sus MTB including their own fork
  15. Jacques at Cogent Industries in Pretoria can probably help as well
  16. Thanks! Yup Taroko Trails, on the way to the ruins of the dynamite plant
  17. I've done the majority of the loop on my gravel bike (except the ruins) without issue. And on Panaracer GravelKing slicks nogal!
  18. Compared to two years ago, the maintenance levels are a huge step up. what I would like to see are some more routes, specifically there is a big space on the left the second tar road section. I think there is a load of potential at Modders waiting to be tapped
  19. I think that is going to be a ripper of a bike. Very similar geometry to a Transition Spur and light as well. Just hope they actually manage to get some stock into SA
  20. Bold Updates the Linkin Integrated Shock Trail Bike - Pinkbike - I think that is HotAF! And a pic of my Spark "EVO".....
  21. External dropper and a few Jagwire cable guides. Problem solved
  22. Modders on the Spark Evo
  23. If there is no genuine approved option available don't bother. There are suppliers that will make one to fit, but it will make contact with other parts of the car and rattle. Speaking from experience here
  24. If it is the same mynpad that goes in the direction of Boksburg, it was tarred the one time I drove it (circa 2006). But users hit that road at super high speed, so I'd stay off it on a bicycle.
  25. Got me a Fox Float air sleeve service kit for a nice price. Thanks!
