Was in Telkom shop on saturday standing in the queue listening to an old geyser and his wife complain about the non existent coverage after having purchased 2 cell phone packages. Apparently the sales person had assured them 8ta had coverage in their area. Clearly NOT. The sales person denied having said anything.

No wet suites should NOT be legalized for ALL events. There are rules currently in place that govern the usage of wet suites. These rules are put in place with due thought, process and logical reasoning. They were not simply put there by someone sucking there thumb. Why are we even debating this ?

I bought a set of those ultegra wheels. I managed to break a spoke and the freehub within a few months. When a spoke goes you are totally stuck. The entire rim kinda goes into a wobble and you need to phone a friend to collect you. As for the freehub I have no idea how this breaks happened to me in the middle of the last dome2dome race a real bummer if you are far from home.

I was doing my Friday afternoon run fairly late at dusk near builders warehouse in Roodepoort. I was running against the traffic in a residential area where its very quite and this, dare I mention the word forgive me, "woman" driver almost runs me over. She was driving down the road reading a magazine ! Once she was past me she suddenly realized she was about to hit the curb at which point she suddenly veered off to the right. She did'nt see me at all. If I was a cyclist riding in the same direction as her she would have hit me.And that folks is how stupidity is killing us.

You guys are all from cape Town where the DA are in power so to speak. Cant you petition Helen Zille to mobilize the army and get them patrolling the mountain and setting up road blocks. Either that or tell them to ship out declare independence and hire your own army. That would seriously piss off guys like Malema and the other ANC cronies and I would be one of many people packing up and moving to cape Town. I'm dreaming of course ...

Chubba you clearly not happy with the "50 armed rangers". At least they have kinda committed to doing something. I'm not aware of anything being done about the same situation up here in Gauteng. It seems some of the hubbers up here are getting together and intend doing something about it themselves. Maybe they will call themselves the "Hubber Rangers" and kick some serious BUTT Chuck Norris style.

Yes I totally agree. There is no way those guys are gonna use that bike themselves. That Specialized is in no way an ordinary bike. Someone is buying stolen bikes from these thugs and creating a market for stolen goods. Whoever is buying these bikes is well organized and probably has a distribution network going on. Someone MUST know something. Lets get these guys and sort them out.

+1 Personally I try to limit banners etc to 80px or restrict them to either the left or right corner. A breadcrumb is always a good idea especially when doing on-line shopping. This together with a recently viewed section or wishlist

Been to KL twice cant say I ever found and even saw a bicycle shop. they are big into granny type bicycles the type you would buy for yr gardener with 2 speed or mopeds. Another thing you might want to check out is there running shoes you can pick up stuff at half the price if not less. Cant say if its genuine though !

For road I wear Asics and for trail running Salomon cross max. I would definitely recommend Asics to anyone. But yes the guys are right its best to visit a pro shop and let them check you out make sure you dont pronate. Sportsmans are not that great re for price or advice.

Hmmm let me think, Castle Draught, Stella Draft, Peroni draft, black label cans, windhoek lite cans and every now and again some Kilkenny is nice.

I did some work for a local manufacturer who produced pistons for a very well known German car brand. The factory had 2 production lines producing exactly the same part. One had a official manufacturers stamp on it and the other had no stamp on it. One went into a fancy box and the other went into a plain white box. One costs a fortune the other not.

Cant say I have, but wish there was a "cheaper" distributor for bicycles in SA cant seem to keep up. There's always seems to be something on my shopping list I cant have due to budget constraints
