I noticed that where I almost got attacked once (under the bridge when you exit town toward the n1), there's now often a marshal with a paint ball gun. Maybe they should put some on the cycle path, then we wouldn't have to use the N1 to go to town...

might as well save 100g and put it on the stem, those MTB garmin mounts are super heavy, and I found them only usefull to improve the reading while standing on the pedals (during intervals) by bringing the device further forward, for when seating down, the stem mount works and is muuuch lighter. Also it's a headache to fit a board with those (wether it's a race board or a club members board)

I don't even understand why one would ask the question ? The only time speed limit applies to us is probably in a 30kph area like a school area, I'd say of course it applies to us especially since our stopping power is much less that the one of a car or motorbike (at least on a road bike). Even worse, like going down Kloofnek, I often pass cars there, but never set off the speed camera. Feels like going any faster would be a real danger for myself, as there are lots of side streets from which cars could come and cut me off. I would go for "off course they apply to us and should be followed", although I'm not going to pretend I follow them strictly (or even pay attention to them) when out on the bike

Cyclelab wants to inspect the fork, I only got the bike back from my local mechanic yesterday, so not sure when I'll find the time to go have it checked. I rode the bike today and it felt alright though... Might just monitor that line see if it develops as a crack or not
