  1. Nope, all I saw was blood, sweat and vomit šŸ˜‚
  2. Doping and e bikes, like peanut butter and syrup
  3. Or you should have gone to Spec savers 🤘
  4. The reason I asked is I picked up a urinary tract infection twice and then my urologist did a flow check and diagnosed BPH, prescribed medication and subsequently I’ve not had a UTI again, he did also mention a ā€œscrapeā€ if the infections reoccur. TBH I’m not keen on taking the medication (Tamsulosin) everyday for the rest of my life, but I’m not keen on having it scraped either… the saying that getting old is not for sissies is so true….
  5. You’re absolutely right, why would someone ask a question about bicycle wheel color on a cycling forum….the mind boggles. For the OP, I like a super matte black (see picture below) with solid black writing Black is beautiful
  6. Hi WaynejG Have not had the procedure but I am wondering if you experienced any kind of issues leading up to this decision and were you on any medication to manage the issues?
  7. Hey maybe if he is so good I should contact him to see if he can he can turn my 60 year old legs back to what they were in the 1990’s….
  8. I wonder what the real Mr Nick Bester (his father) thinks about his laatjie…. I’d like to think he gave him a good klap or more
  9. Bring back the death sentence, been saying it since 19voetsek. Eye for eye…stone the b a s t i d s, kill them dead Maybe the cycling public could start a fund to put a contract on these killers once they are in jail…. Can you imagine
  10. IF I was that amateur rider I would be to embarrassed to mention it to anyone, let alone discuss / brag about it on social media, Strava or wherever. When you as an amateur wannabe come across a seasoned pro or pro’s out training, just wave and smile, don’t try be a hero.
  11. I’m wondering how ā€œbusyā€ that now locked and faded into history Donald Drumpf thread would be now what with all of Trumps latest shenanigans…. Joh ole Patch and River general would be frothing at the mouth, me thinks. @Patchelicious @River Rat
  12. My Spaz doesn’t have a motor, exhaust or valves that bounce, but occasionally the rider can generate a loud stomach rumble or f… if required
  13. This Noisy hubs / free wheel are useful to warn pedestrians that you are approaching from behind, when you have to share paths with bladdy pedestrians, dog walkers, horse riders etc
  14. I’ll second that question šŸ˜‚ BTW…. Does anyone still use short finger gloves for mtbking? Never been a fan of long finger gloves, unless it’s cold of course
  15. 13 years today https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid02KzrjXL5DzYgDpGm83Wd4bTJuMrqYKcUHriadatacMWrUkZ8byKieagrBzrc836Syl&id=627815950
  16. Bah humbug was looking forward to watch this live on tv…. Sign of the woke times we live in
  17. This whole thing is stupid beyond belief, who the flock do garmin think they are? I use a polar sports watch and bike computer, polar flow software and Strava free version, the satellites that my devices use to track my activities are owned by various governments/ states (see below)…. In other words flock all to do with garmin. During the summer months I take part in a running / cycling time trail series which uses Strava to update the results and the various leaderboards. Just imagine now if every sports wearable manufacturer decides to pull a garmin and demand that 3rd party API,s must display some sort of attribution to the brand of wearable that was used. This is what happens when a brand (garmin in this case) has market dominance in terms of devices being used. 18. Is there a reason why you spelt garmin with a capital G and strava with a small s ?😁
  19. I always notice how the volume increases as the crowd get to the Afrikaans part of die stem, no matter where in the world they are, Twickenham this last weekend was an excellent example of this.
  20. Screaming GARMINNNNNN to clear slower poephols out of your way as you head for a segment record will never have the same effect as screaming STRAVAAAAAA
  21. Lack of financing would be my guess Riders probably have to finance the whole trip themselves, and considering some riders will have trade team contracts to honour and the trade teams don’t care about world champs the contract that pays their salaries wins.
  22. Go LAnce
  23. …….for the latest unbelievable rider to be bust? but apparently he is such a nice guy, it could be a long time
  24. I’m impressed, never knew there are so many possibilities. Personally I’m a bit of lazy s h I t and belong to the ride till it squeaks or breaks club, luckily I don’t do the high mileage that some folks do Maybe one day when I’m on pension and have the time….
