  1. Only just moved to Garmin on the fitness side, but I've always had awesome service from them on the car GPS units I've used. They certainly do the brand proud!
  2. Is this a bike rack? Jokes aside though, there was a great thread a while back where guys posted a huge range of very effective and good looking home made racks.
  3. Nah, not ANC, Apartheid!
  4. Agreed, but I think these days it's cheaper to go out and buy a firearm on the black market than it is to buy a kudu full of meat? The OP did say it looked to have been shot. I'm sure if they all pooled their begging money for the day, they could pick up a firearm capable of downing a kudu? Remember, they just need to wound it enough to stop it from running too far, I'm not sure they'd have been concerned with the "ethical hunting" issues associated with wounding the animal. Having said this though, I would not be surprised if some idiot poached it for biltong, this is Blue Bull country we're talking about. A couple of guys get too much beer in them one night and decide to go hunting? It's plausible.
  5. I've used both and prefer the Bell by a country mile. EDIT: I had a serious off with the Bell and had it split in half on me and the noggin was 100% (well, 100% of what it was before the prang - for what it's worth :whistling: )
  6. Also looks as if you are using a single speed to hang old tyres and tubes on. Nice collection, how long before you have to break a doorway through to the other room to make space?
  7. OK, looks like 9 or 10 bikes in there. It's my kinda room. I do however see a road bike or two in there. Care to explain?
  8. Surely it's not biltong hunters? Probably local homeless guys looking for a bit of venison for the pot. I live near Lonehill and a friend on mine's wife does some meals for the homeless people that are staying close to the old Clay Oven as part of their church outreach. Turns out those guys have been trapping and eating the Lonehill and neighboring area's dassies. I recon it's the local homeless guy's looking for food. A kudu will feed a lot of them for a long time. Winter will always see more of this type of behavior as people become more desperate.
  9. This is the best and most comprehensive advice I've seen on this topic

  11. "I'm not kidding Jacob, they're this big!!!"
  12. Does that mean I'm going to have to start wearing more lycra in order not to get stopped and keep my Strava Segments in tact?
  13. not robbed, I like 'em dirty. If you don't want her, I'll take her off your hands if you like :whistling: EDITED: I'll have the bike too if you're totally over the whole purchase
  14. I just came from Polar as well, I'll have a look when I get home and see if I can find it. Set it up a week or two ago, so I'm not too familiar with navigating the menus.
  15. I think you do it under each specific sport's settings. I stand corrected tho.
  16. It was that lady who still needs some help
  17. Seems I'm following a whole lot of threads that I wasn't following before as well. My classified ad has also disappeared.
  18. I get it all the time. Refresh your router, usually helps me.
  19. Yup, that's the one. They're probably using the SAPS internet connection to spy on us as we speak. Think they're dof enough to be wandering around the cop shop looking for my bike?
  20. Nobody would have said howzit. Haven't you read, cyclists are rude, especially roadies . You may have just snuck in a little glance and that's it.
