  1. I always thought fluorescent and reflective were sort of the same. And its not . Very good article.
  2. Extreme Ways also the song that the Bourne Trilogy ends with. Where I heard it the first time. Also my ring tone. With that high pitched start you never miss a call.
  3. At 11 or 12 kms in there's a beacon on your left. Make sure you're alone and sit up. You are now the highest person in Gauteng.
  4. Dani Klein. Ai man, I love that Belgian woman.Haven't listened to them for a while . I'll go scratch for "Time Flies " tonight.
  5. I Really enjoyed the song . It reminds me of root canal treatment.

  8. For fitness points I submit 3 races over 75 km . 5000 Points per race gives you the max fitness points 15000. At least once a week to gym just to get the number of visits per year sorted. No worries about Polar ,Garmin etc.
  9. MOM and I. Appreciated. Thank you Wright.
  10. My sons own Ivory in Florida. Their morning and night jobs.
  11. This is Floyd . My Scottish birthday present . Eight months old and in charge of the house. Dapper little bloke . Gives Ragel the Boxer a hard time ( up to a point). I Think his haircut is a Boere Scotty cut . But I like it.
  12. What is thatched , has a chicken coup , fire pool and costs R 250 m ?
  13. "It's better to burn out than fade away ." From the song My My Hey Hey by Neil Young. That's where Cobain got it from.
  14. And don't the crossfitters just love their jargon. WOD, Amrap , Kipping , Fran , Pistols and a dozen others. Both my sons are involved in the sport . It is very ,very hard.

  16. Like it or not .One of the biggest hits ever, as I recall. Wet Wet Wet , Love is all around . Originally done by The Troggs.
  17. This is nice . Loved it. The oldies walking over the crossing at Abbey rd. Lekker.
  18. Stand By Me was also covered by John Lennon. It was a massive hit in the70's. Some work and some don't. Wycleff Jean's cover of Wish You Were Here by Floyd, and Limp Bizket's cover of Behind Blue Eyes by The Who just didn't do it for me. Santana did a good job on Peter Green's Black Magic Woman. Songbird and Dreams by Fleetwood Mac and Baby I love your way by Peter Frampton covered a while ago , but I don't know by which artists. Nice thread. Keeps me awake at night brushing away cobwebs. Edit: Gimme Shelter is a great song . Was also covered by Grand Funk Railroad in the 70's. Many years ago a young guy at work was listening to a compilation of religious rock music and a more mellow version of this song was one of them. No, he didn't like the Stones. Then I showed him that it was credited to somebody called Jagger Richards. Changed his mind a little , I like to think.
  19. Yes, saw on the web Stretch. "Popular Problems". We'll have to see. With him you never know. He does not appeal to everybody ,which I totally understand. Cohen I take in small doses alone or in the background. Not recommended if you're already depressed and there's red wine around. Edit: It may help to keep The Campbells ,Rooirokbokkie with some brannas and Coke on standby.
  20. They say there was a secret chord ,that David played and it pleased the Lord But you don't really care for music do you ? He's not everybody's cup of tea. He's complicated ,takes years to finish a song, agonises about life and things.Loves women and wine . And he wants to take up smoking again. Congratulations on your 80 th birthday Leonard Cohen.
