  5. Top ride Velo - well done to the both of you!
  6. And remember, when working out your body mass, it isn't how much you weigh - it's you lean body mass i.e. muscle mass. (So pretty much your goal weight). If you weigh a 100kg's but want to weigh 80kg's , use 80kgs as the figure. Often overlooked!
  7. check your protein amounts. Try aim for 1g per 1kg of body mass for weight loss. Around 1.5g / kg for maintaining , building muscle. If your lean body mass is 80kg's that's only 80 grams of protein a day - very easy to over do it...
  8. correct. and there are a number of different options within the GX range. So goes something like: XX1 X01 X1 GX intermediate GX budget...

  10. Slightly off topic: for the regulars on this thread, anyone know where HTONE is?
  11. Constipation: yes, quite a few people experience this. If you don't already, have a strong coffee or two in the morning. Caffeine is a mild laxative. If you already drink strong coffee, try adding some coconut oil to the coffee. This helps with adding to your daily fat content as well as 'loosening' things up a bit. Takes a few days but does the trick...
  12. I've used EasyGIS - all went well so I would recommend them based on my transaction. Their prices always seem to be very competitive...

  18. Hi The last few Saturdays, while I've been going into work I've noticed 3 or 4 largish roadie groups riding along Tygervalley Road (towards the northern suburbs - I've been heading towards Milnerton). This has been around 7:30 / 8 am. The Groups look well organised (possibly grouped according to strength) with what appears to be a marshal vehicle of sorts following the last group. I'm guessing these are Club rides? But there doesn't seem to be any major club jerseys dominating the group. Anybody know anything more about these guys? I might like to join in.

  20. nicely done! Enjoy the GoPro
  21. Dude - firstly, I'm on your side here. I don't agree with it. That said, it is just another form of advertising. Almost all advertisements lie oversell in some form or another. When last did you buy a burger that actually looks like the one advertised? Or did the nose spray you bought really prevent you from getting a cold for xx weeks? Or do you really expect that whey protein to give you 70% more muscle? The price change thing is annoying. But in my opinion, adverts misrepresenting products is far worse. Yet nobody complains about these?
  22. Might join in, so keep us in the loop :-)
  23. I hear you and agree. However, Matt's summary was after round two of the compo. After this last round he suggests that there may be a change in the voting system - hence this debate. So in my mind that means one of two things (or both) - otherwise why suggest changing things.: The sponsors are unhappy with something. Admin is unahppy with something. Just my thoughts... g
  24. @ Admin: I guess the voting format all depends on what the objectives of the competition are? If it is merely about generating interest around the GoPro product and hits for the website then I think it is fine as it is. As can be seen plenty of 'discussion' already happening. However if GoPro is after the best picture (in terms of focus, composition etc) then maybe the system needs to be changed. Perhaps keep the format as is to determine the top 5 pics and then a GoPro rep chooses the winner from those? Best of both worlds?
