  1. If my legs feel like they felt this morning I will be claiming that prize .
  2. HR I think that should read chunky not chucky, two different people.
  3. Reminds me of the time I forgot to change my cassette and tried to keep up with epoh twice around Suikerbosrand on a 11-23 .
  4. Faan' date=' hoefil keer moet ek vir jul ouens se vir wie 'kompak' bedoel is huh? [/quote'] Something like rearrange these words to form a sentence: girl, blouse, pink ?
  5. DT aren't you an expert? Seem to remember you having some knee problems at some stage.
  6. Does no.one.knows still ride?
  7. Actually debateable, see here: http://www.sheldonbrown.com/derailer.html
  8. I was actually thinking the other day that if you run tubeless it would be a good idea to carry your spare tube in a plastic bag so that you have somewhere to put the messy tubeless rim strip.
  9. Take it back to the original place you bought it, if they don't sort it out straight away find out who the distributors are and compalin to them. That is why we have warranties, why should you have to pay someone else to fix what is probably a factory build problem. By the way it is unlikely that brakes will leak while standing, only when you pull the lever. As Johan mentioned when the bike is clean if you pull the brake lever you should see where it is leaking.
  10. Only kidding Chilli, sounds like it will be fun. Kona are we going to ride as a group or will we stop and regroup every so often? Mainly asking cos I don't know the area so don't want to get lost.
  11. Johan, correct me if I am wrong but brake fluid on the brake pads would normally indicate a faulty seal on the piston in the caliper? Seeing as the bike is new and under warranty I would take it back.
  12. Ok, so three days before we are confiscating your squash racquet and I am going today to get spare car keys cut.
  13. Good point Mampara, fit is important. It has never really been an issue for me so I tend to overlook it seeing as the first (proper) road bike I got was the correct frame size and it has always been comfortable.
  14. Ian you are not helping Precisely, that is my point, it boils down to personal opinion. Much the same as with cars etc. I ride a Bianchi with Dura Ace components and I make a point of not getting involved in the Shimano/Campy/XYZ debates because everyone will always have their favourites and you get used to what you ride. I don't think I would be able to feel much difference between most of the top end frames and i don't think it would affect my race times that much.
  15. Mine is the Best ! End of discussion
  16. Sorry but planned a Spruit ride for Sunday.
  17. Oh come on... First it's Andrew McLean claiming I've slandered him by posting this pic, now it's Crux claiming that it's in fact him in the pic????? My Bathroom Scale can prove that this is my pic!!!! B.S. I don't see a single Cannondale logo on that kit !!!
  18. Mampara, last weekend we saw you at a Hub breakfast table but it was just you and a Lady friend, kind of narrows it down a bit
  19. What, same effect as getting Rabubi's Ice stuff on your b**ls ???
  20. Backlash, not sure if I agree with your comments about the cyclist traffic on the 94.7. With the first 15km being on the highway I have never experienced any hold ups on the 94.7. I have ridden everywhere from licenced bunches to the slowest ones. The only place that got a bit congested last year was the new stretch before Northgate where we turned right and went up that steep hill. That section has now been taken out and we turn right at Malibongwe (Hans Strydom).
