  1. You are one of the nice people that do pay, most trail runners don't because it's not required, which is the point the thread at the end of the day.
  2. Aren't there technically facilities at the corporate braai area? Also nothing stops hikers walking to Silvermine and using the facilities
  3. What crank is/was it? What is the BB width of the frame? 68mm or 73mm Thanks
  4. I remember seeing an article on Sheldon Brown using Bio-pace chainrings. Rotor rings will work as there is no change in the length of chain.
  5. For stems and bars can only choose colours
  6. You're lucky to get paid for bringing your car in. I can only claim if it's work related, getting to the office and home is for my own account (80km per day).
  7. What hubs are you referring to? Shimano hubs use loose ball bearings and need to be tightened enough to hold everything together but loose enough to allow them to spin freely.
  8. Dingle Speed?
  9. I may have something for you I'll have to check my spares at home.
  10. Very cool looking frame!!!
  11. Awesome!!! Do you have to take of the black anodizing first? I have a silver XT crank I wouldn't mind doing.
  12. To the new committee (that includes you Deon) Website looks great!!! Keep up the good work and looking forward to the future of Tokai
  13. Finally, been necessary for a while now
  14. The larger bearing should be a 6805 2rs same as the shimano, etc. external bb. The smaller one is 6902 2rs IIRC.
  15. I've ridden Neverland a few times, it's quite fun a bit short though. One day decided we would ride along the hiking trail/contour towards Orangekloof, was a bit of portage involved but pretty cool. Also possible to ride from East Fort up towards Blackburn Ravine.
  16. Not a bad idea this. Also check out on-one.co.uk, they have some decent CX frames there too

  18. WRT widening the chainstays, Google "dimpling chainstays". Speak to a frame builder about how difficult it would be to put on disc brake or cantilever brake tabs. David Mercer put a disc brake mount on my old Diamondback. Not so sure about putting disc tabs on the fork though
  19. Cool. Usually I'm the one asking guys to ride at ridiculous o'clock.
  20. Next time you're in the area. Give me a shout
  21. Gonna check it out tomorrow
  22. I won't post a pic of my stash then
  23. Lol You guys have made me thirsty. Now the decision is between a Windhoek or Johnny Walker Black Label
  24. Johnny Walker?
