  1. Personally I like the idea of being able to switch off the clutch and take the tension off the clutch mechanism. Also easier to change a wheel. I know the type 2 has that little stopper to help, and it works well.
  2. I've been boxed in on a Saturday morning before too
  3. Have your freehub checked/serviced and check the tension of the derailleur
  4. +1, check chain length, but knowing you Headshot, it's probably cool. I'm not convinced with the design of the RF NW chainring, the squarer profile of the XX1, Wolfstooth, and Rapide chainrings make way more sense. My set up is still going well (I may of had mine before you, BUT you ride Way more than I do)
  5. Regular maintenance/greasing of the pivot points. 6 months can be a LONG time, depends on how much you ride and in what conditions
  6. Are these not maintenance related issues? Unless it's a fault in their customized shocks
  7. I'm talking about the bearing in the bottom bracket. I have know idea if this is what the OP means
  8. Shocks can have issues and BBs wear out. Why were the frames replaced?
  9. Does the new frame come with the headset? If yes, then the reducer will work. If no, then you need to get a headset. So either get one that is capable of using the straight fork or get a taper headset AND the adapter braailegend posted (might work out better if you want to change the fork later)
  10. AWESOME!!
  11. Before you order anything, do you measurements of crank spindle length, BB and BB cup widths, to make sure it will work.
  12. You are one of the nice people that do pay, most trail runners don't because it's not required, which is the point the thread at the end of the day.
  13. Aren't there technically facilities at the corporate braai area? Also nothing stops hikers walking to Silvermine and using the facilities
  14. What crank is/was it? What is the BB width of the frame? 68mm or 73mm Thanks
  15. I remember seeing an article on Sheldon Brown using Bio-pace chainrings. Rotor rings will work as there is no change in the length of chain.
  16. For stems and bars can only choose colours
  17. You're lucky to get paid for bringing your car in. I can only claim if it's work related, getting to the office and home is for my own account (80km per day).
  18. What hubs are you referring to? Shimano hubs use loose ball bearings and need to be tightened enough to hold everything together but loose enough to allow them to spin freely.
  19. Dingle Speed?
  20. I may have something for you I'll have to check my spares at home.
  21. Very cool looking frame!!!
  22. Awesome!!! Do you have to take of the black anodizing first? I have a silver XT crank I wouldn't mind doing.
  23. To the new committee (that includes you Deon) Website looks great!!! Keep up the good work and looking forward to the future of Tokai
  24. Finally, been necessary for a while now
