  1. Which annual fees? I only know of 2 Tygerberg MTB Club and Bottelary hills. Are there others?
  2. You can ride a lot of trails with the Tygerbergmtb membership including Meerendal and Contermanskloof
  3. I believe it refers to the latter
  4. He's already done the mod
  5. Still trying to figure how beard (and the affect of wind on the beard) would have an affect on the test assuming the power stats are taken using the stationary bike.
  6. Not that I'm in the Gauteng area at all, but how much can be done for that R350?
  7. Lol, not working out for you?
  8. The problem is AFAIK that even the real are not
  9. I would say he means it worked in that he hasn't dropped a chain.
  10. Are the spokes loose? Wheel wobbling a bit when you spin it? You'll be able to feel if a spoke is loose. If loose take it to your lbs to tighten/true spokes shouldn't come loose if wheel is built properly. Might be worth using Google and youtube to search for how to true a wheel.
  11. I have heard of type 2 clutches wearing out
  12. Personally I like the idea of being able to switch off the clutch and take the tension off the clutch mechanism. Also easier to change a wheel. I know the type 2 has that little stopper to help, and it works well.
  13. I've been boxed in on a Saturday morning before too
  14. Have your freehub checked/serviced and check the tension of the derailleur
  15. +1, check chain length, but knowing you Headshot, it's probably cool. I'm not convinced with the design of the RF NW chainring, the squarer profile of the XX1, Wolfstooth, and Rapide chainrings make way more sense. My set up is still going well (I may of had mine before you, BUT you ride Way more than I do)
  16. Regular maintenance/greasing of the pivot points. 6 months can be a LONG time, depends on how much you ride and in what conditions
  17. Are these not maintenance related issues? Unless it's a fault in their customized shocks
  18. I'm talking about the bearing in the bottom bracket. I have know idea if this is what the OP means
  19. Shocks can have issues and BBs wear out. Why were the frames replaced?
  20. Does the new frame come with the headset? If yes, then the reducer will work. If no, then you need to get a headset. So either get one that is capable of using the straight fork or get a taper headset AND the adapter braailegend posted (might work out better if you want to change the fork later)
  21. AWESOME!!
  22. Before you order anything, do you measurements of crank spindle length, BB and BB cup widths, to make sure it will work.
