It's been 2 months since the AGM. How many times were they up there? If they had been up there as many times a month as you have previously told me, the trails would have been in a way better state than before. What would the trails have been lined with? Who supervised these guys (or were they left to their own devices)? Yes, you do! I'm jealous!

They failed for the following reasons They have been provided with a plan from Cape Pine with the expected harvesting schedule (up till 2024) (info from Cape Pine) The burn is supposed to happen in the FIRST year of removal. (info from renowned botanist) It has not even been discussed with the TMNP fire manager (info from fire manager) Have an email I'm not at liberty to share stating the writers reservations to the competency if TMNP to control a burn on the side of the mountain (sloped land, exposed as opposed to the flat area that is being burned) Certain TMNP employees were included on this email.

I'll check what rise my KCNC has, have seen some BBB and Ryder ones that are short and varying degrees of rise (not very bling I know)

That's the one. Unfortunately Coolheat are notorious for never having stock.

If it's QR I believe you can use almost any Shimano freehub. Your LBS should be able to sort it out

Aren't most Shimano freehubs compatible? Is it QR or thru-axle?

There have been a couple before. The Maverick DUC32 for example. 150m travel fork at 1.6kg (IIRC that includes the hub)

If uses a 15mm Maxle then it'll be easy to get adapters to fit Hope, Chris King, etc.

Been looking at Diamondbikes that they have in the US for a while (Sortie, Mission, etc.) Who supplies them in SA? What shops would stock them? Only seen newer cheapie Apex, etc. hardtails (have an Apex from 1993 and wouldn't trade it for the newer ones I've seen in SA at all)

Bare in mind that SRAM 9 speed uses 1:1 and SRAM 10 speed uses Exact Actuation 1:1 (They are actually different and won't work together) SRAM 11 speed (no idea)
