  1. Hi there! Anyone having issues with BuyCycle? Put my order in on Wednesday, did the immediate payment thing, got an e-mail to say my order "failed". Money is out of my account, phone them, "sorry, we will reinstate your order". This morning same "failed" message. Phone again because they don't answer e-mails, only to be told they only "received" the stock and will start processing sending the order out maybe today? Not too sure what to think about this state of affairs?

So - update. Just got confirmation that the order has been finalised BUT, because a floor pump is included in the package it will be sent road freight.... Would have thought because of their delays they would try and make up for lost time......

  2. Whilst I still have ENVE parts on my bike (wondering now) my past experience with ENVE and them actually taking blame for their work failing is rather appalling. Broke a handlebar stem in a rather bad crash and went to ENVE with the problem. They called the break "delamination of carbon due to incorrect stem bolt (1 of 4) used". Concerning with your life could potentially depend on parts holding true to form when needed. But that is/was just me.......

  3. I hear you, and trust me Im not going cheap for cheap sake... if I could afford to go for the best all the time I would but im trying to do the best with what I have which is not a lot.

Fully understand, good medical coverage ain't that cheap these days. Was just taking the p#$% a bit.... sorry

  4. Please explain to me how I should NOT be frustrated going to Navworld Cape Town to get a replacement strap holder (small little piece of rubber band on your strap) only to be told it needs to be ordered from Garmin JHB??? Really, I'm the only one breaking the strap holder on my Fenix so it is seen as a "specialist" part?

    Nee man, not COOL.

So, shortly before 2 weeks of waiting is up I get the little loop for my strap. Asked to buy a spare.... Nope, no can do. Parts only allocated by Garmin to Navworld "as, when and by part number and specific number as needed". Time I think to give Garmin SA a bit of my mind, directly.....

  5. That's the difference between good customer service and not being bothered at all. . .

Not sure if it's Navworld or Garmin at fault here. But..... Seems Navworld can only put in orders "ONCE" per week and then you will be notified when your parts will be available. Get the feeling Garmin wants more "control" but in doing so they just "middle finger" their customers. Seemingly good products, but clearly no real interest in real good customer support.
