  1. I've often changed cassettes from a 12-23 / 12-25 & 12-27 and have never had a days problem.
  2. Seems a bit fishy to me....can't understand why they can't find a sponsor?? Someone not doing their job?? Personally, i think it may be a good thing.
  3. All I know is SRAM is supposedly better because it has a 1:1 ratio which is easier to fix and work with than Shimano which is a 1:2 ratio. Want any more info ask a Mechanic....LOL
  4. Not sure it's very logical...won't dirt get into that section??
  5. I was thinking the same, they're probably making sure you have to buy another stem size from them. Making it even harder and more expensive to have a bike suited to you. But looks wise it's funky!!
  6. I don't think I've even burnt that much in the jock. Damn, you must eat a lot!!
  7. Ha ha. I was actually reading that article and thinking if we had what it takes we wouldn't be sitting on the couch thinking that at all. We'd be riding the tour or some other race because we'd be pro.
  8. You know, just thinking about this calorie thing. These guys may be going faster on average but have you seen their average HR. They should be burning less than us. LOL
  9. I think she over-exaggerated some of our limits. I burn about 350 on an easy hour trainer ride and I'm female. So that makes it over 1000 for me on a normal 3 hour ride and again I'm female so I burn less than a guy. But then again in all honesty a five day tour kills me, can't even imagine racing for 3 weeks like they do.
  10. Brilliant one TNT...
  11. Enjoy her Bennie. I need to sort my baby out and get some dirt in
  12. you'll have to show us how to do it next time
  13. Christie, we think it but avoid talking about it....
  14. Tumbleweed, we know you have no problem with braking bones and anything else, hahahaha!! Maybe I just need to lose a few more screws like you then I'll be just as crazy.
  15. Agh no man, I know my man is getting old but really...not a single sprinter??? Hmmm, I have a feeling there might be a bit too much in-house fighting. Can't see any of them making top 3 to be honest. Though I have been proven wrong before.
  16. As far as I know you should be able to get it pretty much at any LBS. Jees, I just wish I had the guts to do that DH stuff....still get seriously chicken . I often think you need to start when you're young to be able to jump those gaps or am I wrong?
  17. Here's another idea, why not have different races for the sprinters and climbers. The sprinters do a tour of flat stages and sprint finishers and the climbers do a tour of the mountains....
  18. Stay at home looking after a 6 month old baby...never seem to have time to eat. LOL
  19. One guy who proves that "it's not about the bike". He has just basic everyday not top of the range stuff and still kicks everyones ass... Love it
  20. Colnago I can deal with...Cannondale even better
  21. What bike is on that first car? If you can afford a car like that you have to have a top of the range bike albei mtb or road
  22. You're lucky I know you personally I've had no problems with a HR monitor...you just find a comfortable way that suites you and I always train with mine on.
  23. She's still thrashing most peoples butts
  24. Nope, I was in TCS kit. Tried talking to a few people but they weren't very interested. Maybe it's me
