  1. So we agree, they'll sell well.
  2. Sure, but that never stopped all those Epics from being sold. Plus, for R13k less than the Epic FSR Comp you get pretty much the same spec bike in the Titan.
  3. I reckon these are going to fly off the shelves. The price is smart, they're not awful to look at and the specs and geo are beyond 90% of SA's riding population's "F*cks given reserve". Seriously, if you're a weekend warrior with the odd K2C and local stage race ambition, would you spend R50k - R60k or R30k for pretty much the same bike for what you're going to use it.
  4. I wouldn't be so sure about that. The Leftist virus spreads far and with haste.
  5. Look at it this way...there won't be universities worth going to in SA soon, so there's a good chance of you being able to enter sooner than you thought!
  6. Stop raping xir with your binary gender oppression!
  7. I spent about two years on the 661 Rage kneepads and although they were very comfortable to ride in for extended periods of time, the elastic did eventually stretch to a point where they became unusable. I now ride with Alpine Star Volcano pads. They are removable without taking your shoes off, which is a nice feature and they are comfortable, but in hindsight I think they may be more of a DH'er's minimalist kneepad, rather than a trailriders go to kneepad. I'd rather consider the Paragons. Friend of mine rides them and he's very happy.
  8. Ja, jeez, what's the idea with those brake levers? Out of the saddle riding all the time?
  9. Go Pro...the Caravan of the Mountain Biking world...
  10. Serious question. Does the extra 25mm matter THAT much? I've been on 125mm for the last 2.5 years and can't say that I've ever felt the need for more clearance. I don't know where in SA it's steep enough for long enough to warrant that much clearance. Or is it a physiological issue i.e. you're crazy tall?
  11. I reckon it veers to the left thanks to all the added weight on the left side of the bar. Maybe at least mount your GPS on the right. If not for your sake, then for ours.
  12. That handlebar is rather busy.
  13. Looks rad. Except for the straight-lining down a dune. I guess their headsets seized :/

  15. Don't think just because you're on a roadie trip with your lady you're not obliged to post daily pictorial updates you bastard!
  16. Ja, nice, but seriously, installing tokens is free and easy and no one on this website will notice the minute added benefits of this.
  17. Ja nee kyk. Dit sal van jou 'n effense "box" maak...
  18. Awesome pictures. Have to get out there one day. Question: When does it stop being loam? I always thought loam is this magical soil that one can only enjoy for a short stint on fresh cut trails, but eventually it's down to dirt (not sure that makes sense). Or is it just mtb nomenclature like "Enduro" and "Climbs like a XC bike but descends like a DH sled" or "it's the USD-ZAR's fault"?
  19. I got mine on CWC - they have some units still in the Greenpoint store. The Sportsman's Warehouse also stocks them in their cycling department. I got mine on a CWC sale for R1350, but the mini is usually R1999. Mate got the big one at Sportmans for R3200 (more memory, bigger screen, bluetooth with your phone and Ant+)
  20. I think you should go to the flaking bib decal thread...
