  1. Just listened to that chap on the radio... He is saying "unreliable data and anomalies", so they are working for support for Polar and Suunto. What data does an Apple watch export that is more reliable than an Ambit3? Movescount is so refined, why can't they sync with it like Garmin
  2. https://gfycat.com/FlusteredGentleAmbushbug The slow mo not from the helicopter
  3. I haven't had DSTV in 4 months and it hasn't been hard at all. Between Netflix, Showmax, and Youtube, I have enough stupid stuff to watch for eons. Proxy no longer working but that's okay. Can always install one on my router at a later stage. I just miss Arsenal Youtube does have live sports so I find myself watching bowls or chess now and then...
  4. The original is made by S&S with the code 7149788. I have measured it and it appears to be a 19285. Rushsports unfortunately don't sell to the public but my new LBS have brought them in. I will just strip in all myself and give them the freehub body so it's less labour for them. They can just put it in as I don't have a small bearing puller yet Thanks for the input everyone!
  5. It comes down to the convenience offered by plug in online payment methods for the organisers. I'm sure if you contact them they will offer you an alternative. The last thing they want to do is exclude people.
  6. Consider actually getting a credit card... (Use it for all online payments and reap the benefits paid for by those who have to pay interest on their stuff. ) Like all tools, in the wrong hands they can be dangerous, They are most definitely not reserved for the rich!
  7. I will pick up 11 when 12 comes out I will go up from there in odd numbers only.
  8. My rear hub felt a bit gritty so I stripped it and cleaned it from pawls to balls. The culprit is a bearing in the freehub body but it turns out that it's a proprietary size (thanks Fulcrum). The bearings are around R200 each and I was quoted R450 for reconditioning the rear hub. I have 26'' wheels and this is almost 1/4 of the price I paid for both! The bearing is not salvageable. What is the worst case scenario if I leave the bearing as is? Should I just replace the outer bearing and be done with it? Are RushSports the only guys who bring in bicycle specific size bearings? Thank you!
  9. Awesome to see so many competitions lately! I'm ready for these... (• _ •) ( • _ •)>⌐■-■ (⌐■_■)
  10. Can't wait to give it a bash! How long is the MTB loop? I see they want to have 2.5 and 5km trail running loops. Not at 60 though, Modderfontein is riding distance for 50
  11. I know but they have no other name... When people start they "move up" to clipless. Real flats aren't in the standard progression for most.
  12. The standard flats that bikes come with also don't help the argument!
  13. I'm moving back to flats to try do the blue route at Thaba! Clipped in I won't try half the stuff that it has to offer. That being said I also won't be going as quick on the green downhills. Once I am confident on the more technical stuff I will move back to clipless. Just a skill learning and confidence for me really. Or the difference between falling at slow speed clipped in or at high speed getting bumped off flats.
  14. Yeah I also decided to give this one a skip because of previous USN races. Felt like a proper rip off before and it seems that sentiment still exists.
  15. Take the logos away and there is nothing memorable. Very safe approach but it's clean and well executed.
  16. As per title, a Garmin 810 was found at the Summer Fast One MTB event. Please contact me if it's yours.
