  1. Grand Master cat and winning. On his American Eagly dual suspension, have not seen other team members. Except the lumo yellow Mugura brakes on Mariska’s Liv.
  2. Nope, no bike checks from last year on Bikehub. The source from last year has also not posted any new articles.
  3. I do like this new paint scheme, the 120 version on this frame is also possible if you can find a shop that is willing to swop the shocks between this Team model and the Empire model
  4. Masters race is good. Some coverage would be nice. Nic Dlamini is doing great.
  5. What do you guys know about the Megamo bikes? Looks almost like a Vipa Ultra, with flex stays and not the storage. Willier launched their new mtb last year and stacking the pro field. Hope for a few bike checks this year. Is their a purple Canyon?
  6. Same experience with a set of radar’s. Lenses perform great and at minimal cost extended the life of a retired pair of sunglasses.
  7. Calling a few Hubber`s to take the start @Sid the Sloth, @Jbr, @WaldoZ, @DieselnDust
  8. My valley.
  9. Have a pair of NB Arishi V3 I’m fond off, black with neon yellow sole, looks like they are discountinued. Currently like the Asics Metaride in electric french blue, it must be a winner.
  10. Those On Running shoes is a favorite of medical professionals, looks smart and I am envious of not being able to make them part of my office wear. Personally have a few NB for daily walkers, more than comfy and very happy with them. For running I use Hoka. Also get a pair of Asics Noosa Tri`s in a wild color, match them with Hasie Sox and even the children will point and stare.
  11. An eye for the finer things in life.
  12. Was eyeing that beauty. My favorite Colnago paint scheme. Enjoy your new bike!
  13. Not mentioned. Highly unlikely. Does Platt not own Bulls? Probably different bike brands like Lill and Strauss. #BullSpez
  14. How you tell the story is all up to you!! Awesome.
  15. Garmin shafted me for R10 800 last year for a replacement Fenix 6, 8 weeks between sending unit, paying up, sending wrong unit and finally a new watch. Decided this is my last Garmin, by the time this one is kaput, hopefully there are new competitors. Go on Hammerhead, name it the Karoo Burn.
  16. 5, 10km and 21.1kmspot on, marathon off by a long margin. Same as Vetplant with work and family responsibilities, with perfect training, does not seems feasible. There are many runners that do a sub 3hour marathon, personally it will be a lifelong dream that I will take with me to my next life.
  17. Beautifull! The fork must be the best looking in the industry.
  18. Quick return on investment for Chris Froome.
  19. New Caddy share its gene`s with a Ford. Perhaps a Toyota VW in its next life cycle. After 10 successful years of ownership with both Mitsubishi and Hyundai, a Toyota is on the horizon due to value for money.
  20. Wishful thinking on my part. Awesome for Beers to have opportunity to go for another win.
  21. Matt Beers and Tristan Nortje to race Epic as a team? Prospect for SA team to take the yellow.
  22. There a few options, search the hub. Gary Kirsten was there a few christmas ago for epic training. Haley Earth from Hub, cant find her now, knows the area well. I did a route from Boknes, pass Canonrocks, coastal road, through Sanparks to Alexandria and back. Route from Alex to Salem to Kenton. Normally a race in Bathurst and also in Kenton-Eco estate. Enjoy will be there Dec 2022.
  23. The same here. Many years back around 2009 training stress and work stress left me injured and ill. Completely fell apart in my A race goal for the season and only after the race was diagnosed with shingles and stress fracture. The week before the race awake at night in a cold sweat, could not breath and the stress of getting the "Timing" right took its toll. Same stress fracture that took Henri out of Olympics. Took 2010 off completely and started 2011 with a coach and doing a bit of weight training, best decision ever! Will always advise to get a coach!!
  24. Congrats! Review please and comparison to your previous bike.
  25. Certainly learned something new today. When I did the Pyrenees 50 Col Challenge, my neck took a hammering, almost to a point of wanting to quit. Stupid me thought the cause was looking up into the mountain for hour and hours on end. Shermer`s neck sounds better.
