My daughter is a tattoo artist. I have just asked her if anyone has asked her to tattoo 'there'. She said 'hell no!'

  2. Hello everyone. I am by no means a wood work fundi. I would like to ask what sander/machinery do I need to make these? I have many protea seed heads after cleaning off seeds. They need to be sanded on the upper and lower surfaces to thin them out and also to shape around the edges. They are about 6cm wide. I would appreciate any advice before I buy. Thank you so much

We're developing a skin repair cream to form part of the ASS MAGIC range. If you're based in Cape Town and would like to swing by our offices in West lake business park, happy to give you a sample

I did a bike trip recently and got such bad sunburn on my lips it hurt so much I could not sleep at night. Used some samples of ass magic I found , worked like a bomb.

I think you can call your repair cream.."kiss my ass"

If it's a niggle for you it's not going to go away until you give it a scratch. I also hate the cold.

Damn, forgot how tough some sections are...at least I got the t-shirt????

Had a long (lovely) day on the bike and got caught in the rain just after last WP, just added to the experience of making it a memorable ride.

At least the wind was kinder than last year, the tailwind on the uphill's helped.

    This remains an awesome event.

Shout out to everyone that finished - the top finishers, much respect going at that pace for the entire race.

    Until next year????

I think we might have been together a little bit. The rain got me on that long district road drag just before the tar. I was riding in black but my freind was in black and yellow.

  7. I rode from cradock to willowmore on the freedom trail just before the race and had a bad crash when my crank broke off my bike. Hurt my knee and battled with it daily. Just before 360one we were able to rest for two days. So going into the race I felt pretty rough. The race was hard and my freind and I stuck together. The night was long and those last few hills horrible. I got caught in the rain in the last hour. My knee at this stage was unbearable but we pushed through. I'm so glad I did not give up but there were times when my mind went walkabout to dark places. The cheerful folks at the watertables and the medics we joked with at the feed stations were great.

  8. On glad you had a good time. The weather here the last few days has been very wet and foggy. You made the right decision to head back....when its foggy you can get lost in those mountains for days.

The climbing takes some getting used to but the views are amazing.
