  1. Unless they're wearing lycra ๐Ÿ˜‚
  2. Could you have stored some pool acid (hydrochloric acid) or another corrosive substance close to the bike?
  3. Has iptv been mentioned on this thread yet? I donโ€™t use it so canโ€™t really provide much information, but from what I understand it could be the solution to this problem. Give it a google.
  4. Keen eye! The gravel rims are spoken for. There are some mtb rims available
  5. Coincidentally I received some Nextie gravel rims this morning. They look really nice ๐Ÿ‘Œ
  6. I know this is not what you asked, but its the hub... Another option are Ride Concepts. I've been really impressed with them and the pricing is really good currently https://getstokedonline.co.za/brands/ride-concept/ @MarcHD Also if you're not racing or needing xc efficiency go flats ๐Ÿค˜
  7. Dm sent
  8. Also agree on the 3d printed option probably not being the best way to go here. Once off cnc machining is not very cost effective. There are exceptions to this but once you factor in 3d design, creating toolpaths, making a fixture etc. it gets expensive. In fact if I needed these for myself and considering I have the skills and tools to make them, Iโ€™d probably still buy them at R950.
  9. You get 30 minutes free parking at uitsig
  10. Thank you for the feedback and the pics. Glad you are happy!
  11. I agree, 3d printed mounts tend to fatigue over time from the constant road chatter and taking bigger hits (potholes). This seems to be the consensus from most of the guys Iโ€™ve spoken to who have tried them. I am also a fan of 3d printing, it certainly has its place.
  12. The Specialized SWAT mounts are finished! These Garmin Varia mounts are CNC machined and anodised in Cape Town. They are supplied with a durable injection moulded insert. Feel free to DM me if you would like to order one.
  13. ๐Ÿคฏimpressive! Don't you ever get sick?
  14. This is probably the reason: The weekly maximum goal for at-risk members with certain chronic conditions, health concerns during pregnancy, or members aged 65+ with risk factors is 600 points.
  15. The male garmin under the out front mount is tapped with the same thread and spacing that the female Garmin at the top uses, longer screws sandwich it together. The reason for using the male garmin is to have the same interface as the standard garmin out front mount which was on the Mtb.
  16. very cool, I run pretty much that exact set up on my bike, but a machined version. It's so convenient being able to swap the light between bikes (which is why I did it). When I was prototyping this a couple of years back I also found the 3d printed ears would fatigue over time. Here's a little video, definitely some room for a bit of refinement on the "go pro"side... 17. Forget the mounts, your bikes ๐Ÿ˜ Thanks for the great pics!
  18. Thanks! What saddle have you got? Feel free to dm me
  19. Just finished the prototypes ๐Ÿ”ฅ Hoping to get a few made up next week
  20. Made these Garmin Varia mounts for @Furbz these are for a Bontrager saddle and screw directly into the Bontrager mounting holes. The man was adamant they should be anodized black and what a good decision! Hot off the CNC machine...
  21. I'm pretty sure I saw the missing swingarm in another lot. Maybe Mr front triangle and Mrs swingarm can get together and make something. The thing with these frames though is that they were stripped for a reason. Even if you fork out the +- R15k for the infinity switch and other hardware that's needed for the SB115, will there still be something else wrong? I had a look at that SB115, it has no serial numbers and was resprayed and not very well resprayed, after the respray it had been ridden for a bit and then stripped. Why?
  22. high roller's come in 2.3 and seem to be available locally I used to run the originals front and rear back in the day, loved them
  23. Geez that's some commitment! Another option might be bike 24 with aramex https://www.bike24.com/p2397417.html also going to be a bit pricey though
  24. just did the specialized find in store thing for the slaughter (29x2.3) and action cycles in PE came up and for R300! might be the last one in SA
  25. Is it this one? https://wheelsmfg.com/derailleur-hangers/manufacturers/raleigh/derailleur-hanger-42.html Switchback Sports are the distributor for Wheels Mfg. Your LBS should be able to order for you
