  2. A Thing of Beauty! And Matthew is a Saffa (and a Hubber)! https://www.instagram.com/saffronframeworks/
  3. Ok, so that helps explain the 'relocation' that you mentioned. The wheel must be slipping slightly under braking (disc). This is one of the reasons the thru axles came about. It sounds like you need to generate more clamping force and friction through the QR skewer to stop that slippage.
  4. Does the rear wheel have a thru axle or QR skewer ?
  5. When you place your order, you can specify whatever group set, wheels and colour bar tape you desire ! 🤣
  6. Campy on this frame, right ?
  7. Good Lawd! I cannot wait !!
  8. All of this has become irrelevant as we have decided not to ride due to the predicted weather. Saturday looks like a better day for a DC team ride
  9. What hubs did you use ? I love the Sticker Bomb pump Perhaps it needs its own thread! 🤣
  10. These are worth looking at (even when they're not on sale!) https://www.trekbikes.com/za/en_ZA/equipment/bike-accessories/c/E300/?pageSize=48&q=%3Arelevance%3AsaleFlag%3Atrue&sort=relevance
  11. How many of those to make up an S-Works ?
  12. Ashleigh extends her contract and gets joined by Urska https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/no-retirement-in-sight-as-ashleigh-moolman-pasio-extends-with-ag-insurance-soudal-focuses-on-tour-de-france-femmes-through-2026/ https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/urska-zigart-departs-liv-alula-jayco-bolsters-ag-insurance-soudals-climbing-team-in-2025/
  13. Someone is going to ask you what size frame you are looking for. And where do you ride (local trails)? And when you say 'jump', they will say 'how high?'. Like, off kerbs or enduro/Whistler level ? This equates to how much travel you are looking for (front and rear) And I will ask: Have you browsed through the Classifieds ? What did you find there?
  14. Nice one (I call that mode of transport a circumbendibus)

  16. I have entered, but am REALLY not looking forward to this ride. Only 4 of our DC have entered. Going to be a long day out!
  17. Continental is yet to make a tubeless Gatorskin. Unfortunately... The GP 5000's are just too expensive, so another punt for the Pirelli Cinturato Velo. In my mind, the are similar to the Gatorskins (thicker and heavier than the more race orientated GP 5000). I don't race, so am looking for reliability over weight or rolling resistance.
  18. I would have been there if I have the hardware to run it. My old tablet wasn't up to the task.
  19. I gave up on MyWhoosh and am just paying the money for Zwift, which actually works. Spending money on hardware to run a free program didn't make sense to me.
  20. From cyclingnews.com: Hatherly's fight back to second place, despite dropping around 30 positions mid-race due to the flat, helped strengthen his position at the head of the overall series ahead of the final round in Mont-Sainte-Anne, Canada, which runs from October 4-6. The South African leads the standings with 1378 points, 259 points ahead of the now second-placed Koretzky and 293 points ahead of Colombo. With 330 points up for grabs in the final round, the pair are the only two with a chance of moving Hatherly away from that top spot overall.
