  2. It seems to be working well for him
  3. The person on the back of the tandem was sheltered by the guy on the front. Less wind resistance. hence faster. Aero is everything!
  4. The last I heard is that he was pressing charges against anyone that said anything about him (true or not)
  5. A galaxy ?
  6. Storck Aerfast.5 60th Signature edition aero starting at 16,000€ with customized Campy groupset. https://bikerumor.com/markus-storcks-60th-birthday-means-ltd-signature-road-gravel-plus-unique-details/
  7. There are quite a few variables to factor into that thumbsuck
  8. In a world of N+1 bikes, another bike is the way to go. In a world of trying to be sensible, another set of wheels would be the way to go (if you are OK with the gear range on the GG) But, why would you go to rim brakes? After also riding disc on the MTB and gravel, I finally switched to disc on my new roadie. Rim brakes were fine, when that is all you know, but I would never go back. But, that's just me. Colnago and a few others are still on your side...

    Shimano

Gears (elec or cable). 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12 speed? Brakes (rim or hyro)? Road or Mountain or Gravel ? What is your gripe with Shimano ? (is it the product or the supplier?)
  10. That's interesting. Would like to hear more about what happened there. The Total garage is quite far down that hill (in the background closer to the sea) Any news on the cyclist ?
  11. He is out! I don't feel like watching the rest of this race any more.
  12. Something a bit more moderate: https://bikerumor.com/merit-jumbo-750d-carbon-gravel-bike-first-rides/
  13. She did thank them in her interview
  14. What a great week of racing! Quality stuff Highs and Lows at the finish line
  15. Isn't Shimano 105 Di2 disc only ? Not a problem if your tandem already has disc brakes. And its also 2x12spd, so you will lose that 3rd ring on the crank. It would be interesting to hear is the distance between the shifters and rear mech is a problem.
  16. Comment on Insta: 'The most accurate comment in Lanterne Rouge analysis β€œSD Works is like having the talent from UAE and the tactics from Movistar” . https://velo.outsideonline.com/road/road-racing/tour-de-france-femmes/down-delayed-almost-alone-reflecting-on-demi-vollerings-tour-de-france-femmes-crash/
  17. The Colnago's and Pinerello's aren't listed locally as they are usually custom built
  18. Last 6km of the race, so I imagine that the red mist was down, adrenalin high and everything @ full gas. Proper chaos !
  19. Apparently there were radio issues, so none of the team knew that Demi had crashed Edit: https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/this-roundabout-was-very-dangerous-bredewold-unhappy-with-course-as-crash-evaporates-vollerings-lead-at-tour-de-france-femmes/
  20. We're there already
  21. Its probably great for eating up the miles Cant be too good on tight corners though. And I wonder what the wheels do to gearing, which are built around current wheel size.
  22. I would love to see the prequel to that movie Probably a trilogy in 4 parts...
  23. Its been a while since I did this event. The jaffels near J-Bay were the most amazing things. I was so tired that I dropped mine. Probably in the mud. I didn't care. It got my 1000 yard stare under control for a while. But you have to buy food at Check Points now ? SRLSY ?
  24. My daughter is at Rhenish 🀣
  25. Rhenish is in Stellies. Do you mean St Cyps ?
