  1. WOW! STILL GOING!
  2. Jip, nice prices, nice service
  3. Perhaps Just sad that people are arguing such a futile insignificant non-issue for so long :-/
  4. Erosion is more of an issue than we sometimes realise
  5. WOW! Can't believe this is still going...
  6. Sweet! Now get the Gauteng guys on bikes
  7. Is this not perhaps policy from WADA? (to test number/percentage of elite, and 'social' athletes). The same scenario is seen in other sports: triathlon, running, athletics, etc., so its not simply targeting cycling
  8. I'm already battling to find 26er tires. Some shops don't stock any 26" tires any more. This is frustrating, as I love my 26er, and would not want to 'upgrade' to 29. But soon I may not have a choice...
  9. I don't think either of the 2 bikes will be an issue. He should ask the shop to replace the wheels with something rated for heavier riders when he buys it. Then at least he won't pay for wheels he might need to replace soon afterwards. Most LBS should be willing to do this at the time of purchase.
  10. Cool! Will be something different. Hopefully not too crowded...
  11. Very funny!
  12. :-)
  13. I'm pretty sure this was posted under events this week...
  14. I like that. Simple and cost effective. If it end up being a bit unstable, perhaps put 3 bases in to form a lax 'L' shaped stand.
  15. Cool idea
  16. Is this still going? Can't believe its turning into such a big deal
  17. I think lots of mid-field/social riders would test positive. So many people use 'pre-workout' gym stimulants etc during cyvling events... Most of these supplements would test positive.
  18. This is really nice! Do they support android, and do they have maps of europe for instance? Would love to use it on a possible trip next year
  19. Jip. Box it
  20. What Stretch said...
  21. Well, that should be your answer then. Public roads = public access But managing the guard will take a bit more of a PC approach
  22. No simple answer. Is the boomed area private property (including the roads, as in some estates)? What is the gated area's policy on access?
  23. I run with them on the treadmill in the gym (5-6k/day), and perhaps one short run on the road per week. I don't think I'll ever do more than about 5-6k in any 'minimalist' shoe
  24. The simplest solution is usually the best solution. I'd go with the 'hang by saddle' design.
