  1. Song is called: Kings and Queens
  2. Firstly the chance that you got flu from swimming is very small if at all. Secondly look at your training, have u been upping the intensity, distance or a big race etc? Then yes you are at risk and so are we all, so what do u do, firstly nutrition-eat properly, bacteria loves sugar and other crap. Also make sure that you take some immune boosters etc and by that I mean proper stuff not the synthesized nonsense that is out there. For my resistance and just to keep the body able to fight off any attack I use Solgar Advanced Multibiion Diophilus and recently AIM Probiotic. Then drink Citricidal and you have an immune booster of note. But the key is proper nutrition and supplementation.
  3. Used Veet, but find that it looses it's effectiveness after it is opened. As to where u stop, I stop waist height but on the outside only, the inside I stop just below the crotch. Reason is that if u are gonna spill chances are quite big that u will land on your outer leg side and most probably between hip and knee area.
  4. Para hoe kan jy so gullible wees? They should have dropped your premium not sent u a shirt that probably cost them R250 and now ur advertising fot them as well.
  5. Not only their quality but the technology, that's why I prefer Rudy's
  6. @George Gericke try Troisports at Chili Lane in Sunninghill. Mark or Werner-both very knowledgeable Get the Triathlon Bible by Joe Friel, he wrote the Mtb Bible.Read up on it and start. Set a goal, like 70.3, Global 11 or Xterra and train for that. Kit is a personal thing-you must decide and try it out, best is start with Tri-pants and a singlet. Re your BSG Tri-it's a bit of a gemors with everyone and ousus having a go. 600m will be tuff if u havent trained and the washing machine start might make it challenging. But hey go there have a bash and dont take it to serious.
  7. Yeah Ricco get's it again-could not have happened to a nicer guy.
  8. Very general question but it can be: Wrong setup: Bike and Cleats Overuse Old Injury flaring up Muscle imbalance-like 1 part of your quad is stronger. You are asking a bunch of non-medical people a medical question. What I would do is go see a Biokenitist or a dr that knows sport-NOT the GP whose understanding of sport is going to the game at Loftus with the Voltaren rep, but someone who knows and has experience with Sportspeople. That way they can work together the DR, Bio and Physio to get you back. I had bad tendinitis and the bio and physio who helped me made me glad I did not go to a GP.
  9. Just my 2c-I have a Polar 725x the Mrs has a Suunto T4C. I cannot make sense of hers, Polar is more user friendly. Also if u go to Helsinki and travel from the Airport you see Suunto and Polar is in the same office park-weird huh?
  10. sicknick are you the Freestyle Moto X guy?
  11. There has been a shift in the Hub: The level of experience and knowledge has gone down and the agrro/insecurity has gone up.
  12. Who remembers Chris Prior? (the rock professor) now that was a true dj who knew his stuff.
  13. Oh yeah just remember from CRC u will pay quite a hefty import duty-think 40% or so and VAT
  14. I used them a while and they are pretty good, just wear quite quickly and expensive. Went to Maxxis and they last much longer.
  15. The new Virtue 1 is awesome. Think Crow posted it sometime back-all carbon. Felt makes great bikes that's why I have the MTB, Road and recently the Tri bike..... all Felt. And you know that there is backup from a comitted supplier.
  16. Yeah thanks Steven confirmed my thinking. I have XO on my MTB with twist shifters and will never ever change back, the 1 to 1 shifting is the bomb! So the next step is the Road bike. Also heard that the Red cassete makes a noise.
  17. @stevie 69 see they are about R1100 ex Vat and at Less 20%-40% Special on CRC. So my thinking was to take my DA groupset from my roadbike, flog the shifters. Then transfer DA to Tri Bike, and buy the Force grouppo and put it on my Roadbike. If you look at some of the deals like what Kiwi has it makes sense?
  18. Rob says No way-the tesnioning on the cables and shifting makes it incompatible even if you try to index it. DAMN
  19. @Steven69 Do u have Ian's #?
  20. Know that SRAM and Shimano are pretty much interchangeable but have a specific question about my tri bike that I am building. Would Sram Force RD and FD be compatible with Dura Ace Bar end shifters?
  21. Third time lucky-much better than the previous years and a good race, well marked, good terrain and not technical.
  22. Self diagnosis via the Internet is dangerous, I diagnosed myself with PFS but in fact it was diagnosed by a sports dr as tendinitis. Dont mess with guessing there are to many factors.
  23. Classic
  24. All the more reason Admin needs to get the Sales feedback going, that way u know what u dealing with.
  25. Muxies stuff works. i even carry a small amount with when I ride and needed it once where I could not wash a wound clean, put some on and burnt like a bitch but had no issues afterwards. That stuff is serious general purpose.
