  1. Just my 2c-I have a Polar 725x the Mrs has a Suunto T4C. I cannot make sense of hers, Polar is more user friendly. Also if u go to Helsinki and travel from the Airport you see Suunto and Polar is in the same office park-weird huh?
  2. sicknick are you the Freestyle Moto X guy?
  3. There has been a shift in the Hub: The level of experience and knowledge has gone down and the agrro/insecurity has gone up.
  4. Who remembers Chris Prior? (the rock professor) now that was a true dj who knew his stuff.
  5. Oh yeah just remember from CRC u will pay quite a hefty import duty-think 40% or so and VAT
  6. I used them a while and they are pretty good, just wear quite quickly and expensive. Went to Maxxis and they last much longer.
  7. The new Virtue 1 is awesome. Think Crow posted it sometime back-all carbon. Felt makes great bikes that's why I have the MTB, Road and recently the Tri bike..... all Felt. And you know that there is backup from a comitted supplier.
  8. Yeah thanks Steven confirmed my thinking. I have XO on my MTB with twist shifters and will never ever change back, the 1 to 1 shifting is the bomb! So the next step is the Road bike. Also heard that the Red cassete makes a noise.
  9. @stevie 69 see they are about R1100 ex Vat and at Less 20%-40% Special on CRC. So my thinking was to take my DA groupset from my roadbike, flog the shifters. Then transfer DA to Tri Bike, and buy the Force grouppo and put it on my Roadbike. If you look at some of the deals like what Kiwi has it makes sense?
  10. Rob says No way-the tesnioning on the cables and shifting makes it incompatible even if you try to index it. DAMN
  11. @Steven69 Do u have Ian's #?
  12. Know that SRAM and Shimano are pretty much interchangeable but have a specific question about my tri bike that I am building. Would Sram Force RD and FD be compatible with Dura Ace Bar end shifters?
  13. Third time lucky-much better than the previous years and a good race, well marked, good terrain and not technical.
  14. Self diagnosis via the Internet is dangerous, I diagnosed myself with PFS but in fact it was diagnosed by a sports dr as tendinitis. Dont mess with guessing there are to many factors.
  15. Classic
  16. All the more reason Admin needs to get the Sales feedback going, that way u know what u dealing with.
  17. Muxies stuff works. i even carry a small amount with when I ride and needed it once where I could not wash a wound clean, put some on and burnt like a bitch but had no issues afterwards. That stuff is serious general purpose.
  18. Muxie, u forgot to mention ur own product is just as good...even better. I use it as chamois creme. Slapped some on the other day and within 24hrs I was cured. Would rather buy Stinger any day.
  19. Crappy, I have a busted Thule with all sorts of spares that are still fine, ur welcome to give me a shout if you want a nob
  20. Agree with the Spez bottle cage-called Rib Cage I think, another key is that he clamp should make the cage sit at 90 degrees and smaller angle will make the chances of the bottle fsalling out much bigger.
  21. Based on my bike and Interns and not sure about Kleintje the guy who steals the bikes operates in the West Rand. But maybe he has extended his operation.
  22. Mux posted his opinion and shared a positive experience. You decide what to do with the info not have a shitfit, he is not forcing you to take it. I have been using: Citricidal and Solgar Multibillion diophilus to boost the immune system-when I feel I need it. Also healthy foods and supplements also helps. Anyone wanna piss on this comment-go ahead, but see this forum for what it is, to share info and interact with hopefully like minded people.
  23. They work but I find they scratch easily. Managed to stuff up one lens the other day and out of desperation/affordability bought the BBB on Special at Solomons and they work just as well.
  24. @Maryks Base and Threshhold at 75%-85% is race pace for me...have I been doing it wrong? I do about 3hrs-4hrs at between 65%-70% with a 30 second all out effort every 10 minutes.
  25. Check out Bionic as well-clubrides from News cafe on the weekend-not sure about the week though. U ride on HP? it's really hectic on your own. Lots of cyclist arain at the cradle, they drive to the place just off the Muldersdrift turnoff and start from there-its much safer.
