  5. I actually have a couple of these Nokia bicycle chargers anyone want them let me know...would prefer that you use them or give them to someone who would.
  6. Good shoes, if you have a broad forefoot, Italian made quality I swear by them.If they are new R1000 or less depending on the year. Also check the cosmetics they are great shoes but especially the aerator 3's are seriuosly bling....I have a silver pair and they have been knwn to blind other cyclists.
  7. @Ratty try Organic Rice Milk
  8. @Reservechick...yep one of the extreme side affects is encaphilitis.
  9. It's actually named after the town that it was discovered in, if Wikipedia is to be believed.
  10. @Epicrider: Virus takes between 3-22 months to get out of the system. Thing is your body needs to learn how to fight it. No chest pains but it comes in various disguises, I pick up injuries easy and get secondary infections like flu..so it is very unique in that it attacks your bodies weaknesses. Dont want to be a DR but chest pains does not sound good as one of the problems is that it likes to attack the heart muscle-myocarditis. IMSA in 6 weeks... once again u need to chat to a Dr dont want to just make an comment that might not help at this moment BUT talk to a DR that knows especially if u are doing IMSA. Have u seen a dr? Wwhat is yor levels, based on <5 being the normal
  11. @Epicrider to answer your question re training: Depends....go and see a sport physician like Jon Patricios if ur in JHB, he will tell u what to do. My count is still at 600 but I can train at 60% of Max...so I do that.. managed IMBC and a couple of races with it, but u must listen to the doc. I have decided that still doing races is a waste so will stop from this month. But it depends some people are so cooked from this virus that they cannot even get on a bikeso it is what the doc says.
  12. Welcome to the Club....SUCKS Big Time, I have it. https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/90510-coxsackie-virus/page__hl__coxsackie
  13. This was a project in Kenya for the rural popuation who sometimes have no way to charge their phones. In some cases in Africa there are shops that charge money to charge your phone.
  14. @azi yep the swim is still a problem, just google the review and u will see, but so is it with the Polar as well.
  15. @skaap yep u have to charge it the gps eats battery life, but if u train indoors or deactivate gps then is better. Also would ony wear it training and racing-it is really not a dress watch like the Polar. @scalpel Got mine from Bennie and great doing business with him-brilliant deal.
  16. Make that 2, just got my 310xt, always had a Polar. But for now for multisport 310xt is a no brainer.
  17. Lay the Charge, u have his details.
  18. Same situation as in the Cradle last year with some of us getting buzzed. Best is to lay a charge and if he hits a cyclist he will be in real trouble.
  19. I saw the special deal for a Wingspan Helmet and contacted ASG. Joanita was very responsive and even when I caused a delay forgetting to get back to them and I contacted her, the same day the helmet was delivered by Tiaan to my LBS.Tiaan then phoned me personally and told me he had deliverd it. Now that is how a supplier does business!
  20. Whoever this muppet is he gets busy during 94.7 and Argus time. If we all go to the cops and lay charges they will get gatvol and do something and hopefully get him...being very optimistic.
  21. Hijack On: Feeling better in general somedays and then some I am flat. But my bloodwork still running at 600 (Same when I was diagnosed)the levels for Coxsachie B should be below 5. Still training but at very low intensity.Hijack Off
  22. There were tacks there on Saturday. We got it twice and saw some triathletes and others picking up punctures, it was in the circle just after the Lion Park.We went thru there a about 6h40.
  23. Swim: Out and back-Current is a against u going back. Bike: 2 Lapper very basic with one sharp climb. Run: Can run this in normal running shoes, basically a run thru the campus grounds. In general an easy race with nothing technical-good fun though and a fun vibe. If u havent done any of the Sasol races then it is worth doing.
