  1. Just do what you do with your tri-bike. Nothing different because it's a mtb. There are some stuff you need to pay more attention to on a regular basis, but I'm on my way so don't have time to explain sorry
  2. If you're using an old bottle or the ones you buy to put your tube, pump and bombs in. Chance are that it would rattle. Just stuff an onld sock in there to keep everything in place
  3. Awe to that
  4. SRAM vs shimano What dutie fees do I pay on CRC Can I safely buy a carbon mtb why did my chain stretch after 500km what is the best tyre can I use a normal tyre for tubeless
  5. We've got the discusion already: We're talking about "what to discuss"
  6. Why is virgin active joining fee R850? I moved to virgin active through multiply this month. I already paid a joining fee last year when first joining and now I have to pay momentum another R850 joining fee.
  7. Cool, like the tips on bicycling, just not as stupid
  8. What about an indoor trainer with something attached to it? This is a sucky post by me, but play around with it
  9. It also helps a bit if you have an idea from who you're buying it from. My roadbike I bought from nochain, who rides for cyclelab sub-vet I think MTB frame I got from TarmacGT-SL3
  10. If it can happen to carbon it can happen to allu. I own two second hand carbon frames. road and mtb Your choice, but if I can save many thousands by going second hand I'll take it
  11. Maybe they are doing some bunch riding skills
  12. have you heard the beautifull sound from tapping on a carbon frame?
  13. have you done your homework and search for it? If you did, then tell us what your findings are and we'd give some insight. BTW, if i had the money and i was doing downhill, I'd buy a downhill carbon bike
  14. This is getting out of hand. WHy did i even click on this thread. oh why oh why
  15. If your bike has some wacky colours, then I think it could look awesome. BUT, if it doesn't match it would look kinda cheap/shitty
  16. Do you remove the YBN links without pliers mampara? Luckily next to the road we usually don't need to remove link. Just add them
  17. They tell you a 10sp link is not removable, but I remove the 10sp link on my campag record chain with pliers. Not that difficult either. If you get the link to fit correctly, then it shouldn't be a problem. Try to get the YBN 10sp links next time.
  18. Will give it a read thanks edman. Maybe I should have stated that they will be used on low profile Ambrosio Crono F20 32 Hole rims. Will probably use them in hilly or windy races.
  19. Is it the vittoria pit stop sealant? I see wiggle has them, where did you buy yours? If I currently ride 700x23c, should I get 23c again or do i go for a narrower width
  20. How do I choose the tyre width? I ride 23 in clinchers
  21. @Shade, looks like the Vittoria Pitstop could be the answer to a flat. Have you tried inflating with the pitstop and then a bomb after it sealed? 100PSI is kinda low, but luckily I'm in the region of 65kg
  22. Was thinking of going tubeless, but I just bought a set of tubbies from desmondalie for a good price. Thought I should at least try them out to see what the fuss is about. I know guys always say it's a big issue if you get a flat, but I've only has 1 flat in the last year and during a race if you get a flat it's over anyways.
  23. BUMP for Tech Q&A
  24. You're a few years to early. Been working for Eskom for 2 years now and interested in wind power. Wind is huge in Europe. They plan on having about 20% of their power from wind in 2020 if I'm not mistaken. Anyway, don't think I have enough experience to apply as Project Manager. Damn
