  7. It is confusing. Seems to me like semi integrated is almost the same as threadless and that they just call the components different names. Integrated doesn't have any bearing cups and the bearings sits in the headtube
  8. Thinking of buying this eddie merckx columbus for R1000. Has shimano exage brakes and 105 components and suntour supebe Pro cranks. Seems to be late '70s or early '80s. What do you guys think? Will I be able to do something with it? In the end I want to ride the bike and not display. Maybe some training or around town.
  9. Sorry, meant to say threadless vs. integrated/semi-integrated Don't know how the threaded got there.
  10. Is this spesific to your frame, or can a frame take both types?
  11. No image attached. Try again. As for bike sizing, it depends on your inseem and some other factors, but you should be able to ride a 52cm bike. You can even modify and ride a 54cm. I'm 1.69 and ride a 51cm
  12. How you gonna keep the chain tension
  13. You also get those hubs with a cog on each side. Then you flip the wheel around, but it wouldn't work with disk brakes. If you go the derailleur way, get a 8sp road derailleur or something. They're more compact
  14. thehub gives
  15. They quote the local retail, but I'll counter with crc. Free market
  16. Only the sexiest bike ever
  17. I know you've seen these weird "wire" bikes, but how aerodynamic are they?

  21. Selle Italia 1.25kg 30000$ gold saddle
  22. Found some nice stuff: Here's a gearsystem from shimano working with compressed air and not cables
  23. good xt/xtr mix just make sure you get the correct fd clamp Only thing out of place would be the truvativ handlebar which is sram, but that's only if you'd worry about something like that
