  1. Chances are they not even on the Hub. Would you buy the Amarok after the test drive?
  2. CSA seem next to useless so I wouldn't expect much from them. If it exists Deanbean then it should rather be the organizers who implement it. That would be more effective as you basically cutting out an obstacle in CSA.
  3. That is disgusting! a few puncturing is bad luck but so many puncturing is no coincidence. I would strongly suggest contacting Muldersdrift SAPS. Wasn't it also that Right to Ride event there as well?
  4. I rode there last Friday and Saturday and it seemed good enough. They all on the road bikes for 94.7!
  5. Break in and theft at holiday house. Theft from my car in my driveway. Was caught up in an armed robbery at a shopping centre and had a pistol pointed at me when I tried to move away to safety. My uncle was hijacked by "police" and my mother was in an attempted hijacking.
  6. Relax TiBones, I was just joking with you! Seems there are elements of both MTB'ers and Roadies who don't adhere to rules, signs, etc. Btw, I ride both road and mtb.
  7. I agree!!!
  8. Hey TiBones, why bring roadies into this? It is between MTB'ers! Roadies have nothing to do with riding at NF!
  9. Thanks Willehond. I am now very tempted to try a power meter. Disylizzy, looks good. I will have a look at that link.
  10. I get that but if one went for a Powertap and one could only afford one initially, is it better to put it on the training or race wheel? If one could afford two powertaps then it would be better to go for something like a quarq.
  11. Does it not take one to know one? Btw, what "cleats"? I saw some great legs!
  12. Thanks Spinnekop and KiethW! Great info in a concise way. I am definitely looking at a power meter in the near future. Would you say that it is more important to have it in training than in racing or equally important? (assuming one goes for a wheel based power meter)
  13. So since Power Training is so good, the next question is which power metre?
  14. What? MTB'ers scared of mud? Remember the 24 hour last year at Rietvlei with that mud! I would ratehr not ride if it is so muddy! Unless you win the lotto or rob a bank!
  15. Very good!
  16. So sad to hear stories like this!
  17. Hope you heal quickly!
  18. And it is Tuesday. Just edit your topic. You may get some takers. Enjoy the ride!
  19. Um Hairy, today is actually the 9th November, not tomorrow.
  20. Rad, I think you handled it very well then. Tankman, that was a good laugh.
  21. MTB'ers also go through red robots!
  22. If voting was done on that basis Adeline should've won!
  23. The link is a Zipp?
  24. Sounds like a good plan!
  25. Same for me.
