Earphones will be just like HRMs, saddles etc. You'll get a million opinions, and people can be fiercely brand loyal.

How much are you looking to spend.

I recently went down this road, and did loads of research, ending up with the Sony WF-C500, and I am super happy with them. Battery life, signal, sound quality and fit all great.

    I would say between R800 to R1000

    Oooooooooo looook at lawyer Hairy…!!

you are technically right though , these Speeding cretins had a bout of safety conscience just as the accident was happening and slowed right down….

apologies for the sarcasm …I know I know it’s been a rough morning starting with jehovahs witnesses knocking on my door followed some braless unemployed animal rights activists asking for signatures to prevent livestock from emigrating to the Middle East with everyone else

Am I the only one wondering where the pic is of the braless activist? 🤣😅😆😝

  3. On a recent trip to Patensie with my Rocket, my cycling mate on his Gs650, my son hated the ride on his R1. The puncture also did not help. 180km round trip and he all of a sudden did not enjoy his R1.

4 days later the deal was done. Rode to the bike shop on his R1 and came back on a KTM1290.

He has ridden the KTM more in 3 weeks than he did the R1 in 6 months. Every ride he comes back with his ears in his mouth he is smiling so much.

Agreed but note that for the harde vier by vier manne the plastic handle has a risk of shattering and the back of the tool go through your hand, particularly as some of the 4x4 tyres need serious effort to get the tool or plug in (some guys use a 6mm drill, I kid you not). Have a glance at bike specific kits from say Flying Brick (hub member methinks).  Pack a can of tyre inflator for luck.

That was why he chuckled. The plastic handle.

  5. So yesterday we took a ride out to Patensie. As we about to leave my son notices his R1's tyre is flat. A friendly 4x4 dude who is also a biker offered his compressor. Pumped the tyre and it went flat again. Piece of metal in the tyre.

One of the guys in our group hauls out this kit https://www.agrimark.co.za/product/shield-tyre-repair-kit-tubeless?sku=39649_1&gad_source=1

4x4 dude chuckled and said those plastic handled tools won't get you far and he hauled out something similar to this https://www.adendorff.co.za/mac-afric-vehicle-motor-cycle-tyre-repair-tools-gtyrer001?gad_source=1

So the question is, was he right concerning the cheaper kit?

remove the pads , fit a bleed block

then carefully look at the caliper while applying [pressure on the lever

If oil squirts out around one of the two white ceramic pistons then just get a new caliper , the spares are hard to find and the ballache might not be worth it

Also just check the bleed screw if its properly tight ( tight , not stripped )

Mechanic warned me awhile back that the pads were wet. Brake lever goes to the bars and zero brakes.
