  1. Thanks, but I have a set of bontrager xr4 which I love on any trail and condion, set of Maxxis rekon race and ikon, a schwalbe racing ray (the new ones still cutt as easy as the old that's why only one) and a vittoria barzo. All with minimal mileage. So I would either need to ride them klaar or build a bike and use a set (which I'm considering) or selling some of them.
  2. Lekker day out, feeling so much better that I could actually enjoy the ride πŸ™πŸ» and warming up with a couple of drinks and laughing at each other 😁
  3. Thanks, I can't say the same of the one on riding it at this time 😁
  4. O and some new rubber for a different look and saving my trail tyres for when the trails are rideable again.
  5. So found these and sitting with another superspeed frame thinking of a light commuter. I only need a fork, groupset and wheels πŸ˜‚πŸ€£
  6. First ride in a while hr slowly coming done. This has been the longest I've suffered the after effects of being sick.
  7. Daar is 2 in Scotland available. En dis hoe jy lyk wanneer hulle opvou terwyl jy ry.
  8. There's no medicine for stupidity! What was he expecting was going to happen in between two trucks on a turn. But ja definitief lucky πŸ€
  9. Hi guys, anybody with a 29er rear wheel 142mm(non boost) hub with Shimano freebody for sale or to trade for a boost stan's wheel. Wheel is the last part of the puzzle to get a friend back on her way. O and does anybody know how to change a fox ctd rear shock from remote to manual lockout? Thanks
  10. Can't beat a good hardtail. I don't like to much maintenance and more importantly I like a quiet ride. Buddy of my rides a seriously expensive dual and every time we encounter a bit of mud his bike sounds like that insurance hippo 🀣 he as had it back to agents and serviced only to stay quiet for a short while.
  11. Yip thinking of letting go of my K2C entry. I'm not lus to go suffer on what usually a lekker fun ride. (except for those who did it in 2019πŸ₯Ά)
  12. My wife still coughs and she was sick before me. So guess it's the same thing going around. Hopefully we all get over this soon πŸ€žπŸ»πŸ™πŸ»
  13. Thanks. Yes they cramps and legs feeling like lead after 10 min. I'm not fast but enjoy hours of fun on the bike. I've found best for cramps and endurance USN's amino energy works great even helps with recovery but at this point I think I needed something stronger like whisky πŸ˜‚πŸ€£
  14. Wanted to hear if anyone else has or are experiencing the same symptoms/after effects. I was sick a couple of weeks ago nothing I worried about little sore throat and coughing. Took a day off to rest and thought all good gave it a couple more days just to be sure. Now last weekend did my first ride and almost immediately my hart rate spiked and after a ride that would a month ago be nothing my average HR was 172. Another week passed feel perfect got on the bike yesterday 5 min in again the same story HR jumps over 180, turned around to go back and my legs feel worse than they did after a 100miler and only did +-20km on the road. I am going a ask the Dr to run some tests this week I just want to know if anybody else has experienced this as it puzzles the heck out of me.
  15. Because in the UK they have laws to protect cyclist and law enforcement that actually do what they are paid for. In this country as long as you don't hit another vehicle nothing happens to you. I had a little snot nose hoot at me the other day for stopping at a stop sign and then even wanted to know why I stopped and where my license was. He didn't get it when I said I forgot it on his mom's night stand.
  16. If I still have a bike after Joburg I'll try Durbs 🀣
  17. Yip it's getting expensive but at least the bikes are ready to go as soon as there's some good weather and trails have dried up a bit. So desperate for a ride I'm off to Joburg to see if the weather is better that side 🀣
  18. Do you know why light is faster than sound... So that you at least appear to be bright but only until they hear you...
  19. Hold your hand behind a exhaust driving 120 and when it's idling and get back to us again with which one is hotter 🀦🏽
  20. I would definitely go for this one over the carbon one. With the carbon one you are paying for the frame and the rest is πŸ’© with the aluminium one you are paying for the parts and I will take a bet that it's a overall lighter bike than the carbon one.
  21. Wow 280km in 10h30min well done. I've done so little riding this year only way I'll reach that distance the bike would need to have an engine. πŸ˜‚πŸ‘ŒπŸ»
  22. Would have loved a ride but today would have been a swim and I took my time in the week to strip, clean, lube and replace bearings after last weekends fud muck Darling brew.
  23. Perfect weather, lekker pΓͺlle, maybe having to much fun last night πŸ˜‚ first 60km for my boets brother in law before this his longest ride was under 30km. I did miss the old route/trails, today was so much riding just next to the railway and with 5-10% single track. Given how much single track it had in the past it was a little disappointing. O and no beer stop close to the end 😭
  24. With gears or without that's a sexy bike πŸ‘ŒπŸ»
  25. Do these chumps get the idea's off the same "how to be a crook" website. I mean really, I will definitely not hire any of them they have no originality πŸ˜‚
