  1. Your bike repair stand is epic!
  2. See this thread
  3. So the question after all these posts is.... who's starting a "Show us your tools" thread?
  4. I have no idea TBH. I've only watch this & another tool vid of his
  5. Thanks... after watching this, my days of using chinesium tools are done. Rather gonna slowly build up a collection of quality tools that no one else will use/borrow. Will keep the cheapie ones for them to use/borrow
  6. ya.... I didn't buy that one!
  7. Spare belt for the Kickr for 222 Ronts from RS as opposed to R2400 from the suppliers. Thanks to the folks here, post #199 And I've also started my journey down the Knipex rabbit hole... this is BAD!
  8. This looks awesome!
  9. Hi David, As always - thanks so much for this page - it's beyond epic! Not sure if this has been asked previously, but have you considered a mobile APP for the platform?
  10. I think the term you're looking for is called ERG mode
  11. I'm not a Mac user and can't directly assist but I'd suggest that you purchase a USB to Ethernet device (something like this) and then run an ethernet cable to your router and plug it in there. Call me old fashioned but I'd rather have a working and stable connection
  12. I think best practice is to warm up the unit for 10 minutes prior to a spin-down. I always use the Wahoo app and make sure that any 3rd party app is closed when doing the spin-down. usually after a workout.
  13. Thanks - I agree on the fitness bit fully. Was just concerned why there was such a discrepancy but this has now been clarified by everyone
  14. Thanks... total elevation on the ride was 240m according to Zwift so it must mainly be due to the wheel circumference as mentioned
  15. Hi guys, I lost my marbles for a few hours back in Sept and decided to do the 160k ride on Zwift. I decided to try use my Garmin at the same time to see if everything matched up plus to get temp statistics etc... Garmin Edge 520 vs Kickr 3 (with spindown done prior to ride). From the image - it seems like everything is the same except for the distance and ave speed... So which one is correct.... Any ideas?
  16. These are epic- easiest way to shave the beard.
  17. I'd suggest one of these from Builder- was +- R170 for 1.7m and it works really well.
  18. Thanks for the idea on using the Garmin to check the temp - will give this a go- maybe this will help convince the Mrs
  19. At least I know that I'm not the only one taking strain! Was also considering a portable unit... I've just read mixed reviews on them so not sure if it's worth trying.
  20. I was wondering how you guys keep cool in your pain caves... Really been struggling lately with 2 fans on full tilt! Is it worth biting the bullet and getting a split system aircon installed?
  21. I did cos I knew about it... those who didn't know about it could easily come unstuck... I'm all for that section being fast - was my fav part of the park, just became dangerous when they chose to plant a gum pole right next to the trail
  22. I agree but the last time I rode it (a few months back), the 1 gum pole was waaaaaay to close to the trail and the slightest contact with it would result in a serious injury.
  23. Meneer - Long time! I only use the Zwift auto upload to Garmin Connect and Strava. This upload includes the elevation in Garmin Connect but not the training effect. See here why it doesn't include training effect. Plus it's a mission if you have to then also sync the actual Garmin Device and then delete the duplicate workout on Strava and Garmin Connect. I'd suggest that you add the Elevate plugin for Chrome to get all fitness trends, training effect etc or you can use the locally made intervals.icu site
