Did the twitter ride last year. Was good fun. Not sure where it will be this year but should imagine the Waterfall Estate area in Midrand. Chilled group ride with rolling lane closure and then followed by a very lekker breakfast. Would imagine a good number of pros being there again this year.

100 early bird entries to the 2014 Epic were sold out this year in 34 seconds...entry R45900/team. Add on to that accomodation before and after the event, transport to the Cape, some new kit etc etc. A number of other upgrade options are available too. Unless of course you are a professional/ very highly ranked rider you could get a Wildcard entry...

Being in Jhb is not life...at all.

A great talent. I think the fact that he is staying with MTN will do wonders for his racing development. Having the largely South African support team and other African riders in the team is massive and makes the transition that much easier. I think if he joined one of the top teams now he may be sucked up and not allowed as much freedom (leadership role) as he has with MTN. He can develop good confidence with MTN. This guy has a long and bright future ahead of him so why rush things.

Must agree with those mentioning the post office. Use it all the time for very large parcels to be sent to us and also send off large parcels. In the past we used a courier company but the savings now by using the post office are huge. Just ensure the parcel is wrapped correctly and there should be no problems.

Is there not one of those neighborhood watch (perhaps vigilante) groups operating in that area?

Wonder what sort of damage those discs will cause in a crash particularly one with lots of riders going down...

The awards are just another excuse for the cANCer to throw a parteee and thus award tenders etc to put it together!! Greg, Daryl and all the other cyclists doing so well are champs already. Perhaps thehub should have our own awards with a bring and braai:)

Should the MTN Qhubeka team not qualify for best team or are there too many non- South Africans?

I don't think the entire route would be swept just dangerous corners and other areas where sand,stones etc have built up.
