  1. You a lot more patient than me, I would have gone legal route ages ago.
  2. I think they Julians kids what I could make out.
  3. I cannot wait for this season to get going, we are in for an absolutely cracker! Imagine how fast their children would be.....lucky b@stard!
  4. I’ve seen a few of these lately: “It’s in perfect condition except there is a small crack on the screen and it doesn’t charge, other than that it’s perfect” “Condition is like new except for a small crack on the chain stay” Huh?
  5. You should see me at buffets at weddings....it’s pure competitive poetry I tell you!
  6. Ah man this me laugh and I can relate on so many level. I also have every ride logged to Strava, garmin connect, training peaks for stupid reason, I have absolutely no idea what half the numbers and graphs mean but it makes me feel better knowing it’s there....I guess I’m expecting to one day have a lightbulb moment starting at one of them and work out why trying to drag my 100kg petite figure up a hill is going slowly. And when friends are over that dont ride and see everything in what I call “the bike room” there is always that awkward question “what does this cost?” I have given up trying to explain why it’s important to save 100g off a bike....while sipping beer and smashing my face into anther bag of chips
  7. I hated cycle lab with a passion, had one too many snot nosed little punks on the sales floor and super arrogant management. (Fourways branch) The Lynnwood store opened up not far from me and I went in to browse, what a difference! It’s great store, super friendly bunch and always helpful.
  8. Another vote for Ciovita. The Enduro I think it’s called is fantastic. Solomon’s cycles is the best place to buy bibs I find, they always make a plan to beat any other prices by other shops.
  9. Just seen dates posted by miss Neff, we back on!
  10. What should you be looking for when buying a treadmill? I am clueless when it comes to running? ( I can run a hot bath and that’s it) I don’t mind spending 20-25K, I just don’t know what to look for It sounds like the Nordic is a good brand? I got from Technogym and nearly vomited when I got to the price
  11. I worked with a guy who reported his Volvo stolen when the engine blew. He had actually arranged for it to be sold and scrapped. Insurance uncovered the plot and he was arrested at the office. He got 5 years in lockdown, I mean prison
  12. Try supplementing your diet with L-Tyrosine I’m not one to pop pills but was put onto Tyrosine a few years ago and felt a big change.
  13. Save yourself a lot of headache and look for something secondhand in the mainstream brand as mentioned above. Bikemarket.co.za has some secondhand bikes in the same price range Also look at Signal bikes, they local and solid.
  14. And that’s why I ride a Pyga....
  15. I have chatting to a few guys I know in the industry and have seen a few examples first hand now, looks like we in for a +-30% Increase on imported bike stuffs due to the awesome exchange rate we are seeing. At the moment you can grab some killer deals on bikes, specialized and canondale come to mind, but once the local stock is gone, bike prices are potentially going to rocket. I find it highly unlikely the exchange rate will stabilize any time soon. I reckon we going to see a huge increase in second hand bike and trainer sales pretty soon, more in demand and at higher prices.
  16. Cyclelab is open, the Lynnwood one at least, sure the others will be They allowed to sell everything except bike racks, shorts, bibs and shirts....think that was the list
  17. I knew I should have just stayed away from this thread, I was quite happy locked in my house with my road and Mtb...now that’s not the story. How many of you guys ride in or around Pretoria area? Are there many events in Gauteng that cater for Gravel bikes? I know race to the sun and one of the 100 miler events
  18. Stumbled on these vids in my lockdown bordness
  19. BKXC, ‘syd and Maky’ have a decent mix of content
  20. I love my Core, only thing I hate is moving that b@stard around. There is no handle and it’s awkward to carry. During lockdown I have had a few sessions on the porch and moving that thing from the pain cave to the porch was a workout on its own!
  21. The Facebook page has their web address and Instagram account listed and they have posts going back to 2018, don’t know if that means anything
