  1. Buffelsdrift this morning. Albino Tiger Donkeys
  2. Must say I'm not overly impressed with the built quality of the 530. Feels very cheaply made compared to the Wahoo I have. Hopefully the additional functionality is worth it.
  3. My FTP was wrong on TP, the two figures arw much closer now. thanks for the help
  4. It's not my thread, I just posted in it. The OP had the issue with Trek.
  5. Ok cool thanks, my hrTSS is much higher than my TSS just wondering why
  6. Just to be clear, my post was about a Trek dealer, not about Trek. I have never owned or ridden one. I was simply giving my experience with a Trek dealer. I didn't even get as far as asking for a test ride. Nothing against the brand. IMO the dealer acts as an extension of the brand, if I get crap service from a dealer I have no interest in dropping my hard earned money on a brand where my first experience at my local dealer has been rubish. But hey, that's just me. I can drive out my house and be at one of 8 bike shops within 30 mins of each other, if one does not agree with how expect to be treated I simply move on to the next one.
  7. A quick question on TSS I see TP has and option to show hrTSS and TSS I assume the hrTSS is calculated via the hear rate numbers, where does the TSS figure come from? Power?
  8. I've heard some guys battle to find the cleat....
  9. Don't look at the picture of the new Mobu...it will only make you sad if like me you missed the boat on the initial batch. Doubt it will replace the Stage, not for the expected price point of the frame. Now I got to wait to 2020...and figure out which organ to sell
  10. Already launched, check out their Facebook page
  11. Wonder if this is the direction things could be heading? Makes sense.
  12. I have been looking around this week at prices, Sports warehouse had them for R5200 but finding one with stock is another story. Got one from Solomons in PTA East for R5400
  13. Had the same experience in Pretoria. One of the agents on Lynnwood Rd wouldn't even greet me, 3 times I went to the shop to try get some info and chat bikes. First two times completely ignored, they literally looked at me and acted like I didn't exist.Third time got some half @ssed assistance from some arrogant little pr!CK. Drove to a Pyga dealer who spent over an hour chatting options and getting to known me and my needs. Walked out with a deal on a Pyga. Specialized are very good at offering test rides etc from my experience. I moved from a Specialized to a Pyga.
  14. Couple of casualties Pauline broke nose https://www.instagram.com/p/B3RL2fnCI4r/
  15. I fought hard....but fell asleep during the run. Luckily woke up just as Frodeno was about to finish. Thought Lucy had it in the bag, couldn't believe it when I saw she was in 3rd. Awesome to watch, first time I have watched live stream (well almost the entire thing) Mad respect for you guys that do this.
  16. Just seen that Jordie passed away after a crash in Mexico https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.tmz.com/2019/10/11/mountain-bike-pro-jordie-lunn-dead-36/
  17. I use cyclesure. Never had to claim so can't offer first hand experience but from others I know who use them them seemed to come out tops
  18. But we have all already seen the seat now so we know what it looks like. So if we see you out riding we will stop and point because you have a kids seat
  19. I'm a over 100 on a good day (a very good day), plus about 12kg bike Thanks will check out the brakes you recommended.
  20. I hear you, I worked at Spur on weekends and earned about R200 and still managed to afford 3 bikes... had a Mongoose BMX, Zini road bike and Giant MTB. AHH the simplicity of life back then
  21. What does a set of Hope's cost? I understand there obviously different models but for somebody who does marathon and a few stage races?
  22. I currently ride the Sram Level Ultimates, was riding XTR before. XTR was hands down the better of the two. I find the Srams squishy and inconsistent even after serving and being checked by the bike mechanics at multiple shops. I have never had a good experience with any Sram brakes. Next upgrade for me is brakes back to the XTR.
  23. I am also using the MTB on the trainer and it's ***, like you say the gearing is completely off. I was looking at other guys power numbers and wondering how the hell they were pushing those numbers...then realised it must be the MTB gearing Solomons got some nice specials on entry level road bikes so going to add one to the stable.
  24. Wow, what an awefull experience. In my opinion if you charging a fee to use your facilities then some sort of medical backup should be mandatory. RIP to the rider.
