  1. Yeah, they should totally be testing that stuff on poor orphans instead

    Who remembers?

First one I remember was Jurassic Park. I think I was about 8 and I convinced my dad to take me because I was super in to dinosaurs. I had nightmares for weeks afterwards though.
  4. Seems like I'm going to have to go see a bio to try get it sorted out. Thanks everyone
  5. For those of you who have sorted out ITB issues, how did you manage it? Mine's been an issue for months now
  6. I don't remember the wind being bad last year... Was much worse on the MTB the day before.
  7. 190cm on a Large, X-Large and XX-Large. really depends on the manufacturer and the geometry.
  8. Does anyone have a strava link or gpx of the XCO route?
  9. I assume it will be similar to the USN race there (although that was only a 50km) so this should give you an idea: https://www.strava.com/activities/1626426061 Not technical at all imo, a few drops, one or two short steep climbs, a few bermed corners and one or two curvy bits between trees are about the extent of the "technical" bits that I can remember.
  10. If it's the same route as last year, not very technical and not much climbing either. My Strava result from last year if you want a profile: https://www.strava.com/activities/1249906972
  11. Agreed, nothing I hate on a bike more than a head wind. Other than that, fun race. Bleak I missed a sub 3 by 2 minutes though
  12. Archer Season 9 now available on Netlfix
  13. Thanks. R85k give or take. Including a Garmin mount and spare derailleur hanger.
  14. IT HAS FINALLY ARRIVED!!!!!! So excited to give it a ride this weekend
  15. Heated pool. Chlorine pools chow wetsuits so unless you get a cheap one just for that I wouldn't recommend it.
  16. Look closely. He doesn't jump, just "lifts" his legs.
  17. Scotch. In vast quantities.
  18. That does seem wrong. I got 610m of elevation on the 54km last year.
  19. There are some sections that are not rideable (think carrying your bike up a ladder) and you will need to unclip. That said, I did the 54km last year in cleats and it wasn't a huge issue.
  20. Curry "And All" in the Wedge shopping centre on Rivonia Road
  21. When I first started cycling I could barely do 30 minutes @ 70% heart rate. A few months in I could do a 3 hour race at average 87% of max HR. It comes with time. Same thing with the swimming, when I started at the beginning of the year I couldn't swim more than 200m without feeling like I was drowning, now I'm reasonably comfortable up to about 1500m.
  22. Did the Trinity triathlon there about a month ago and apart from quite a lot of foliage on the entry/exit there was no problem.
  23. Same here, Garmin workout from yesterday still not showing on Discovery.
