Ran a 52 x 22.  Looked mean but it could still climb...

Nice bar in the first pic, see the 2nd pic is running a different bar. Might be keen for it, if it's for sale....

The first pic is how it'll run - slapped a bullhorn on it just to test it out after we finally bodged a solution to a long-standing issue with a disobedient coaster hub and worn dropouts at the shop yesterday. It's quite a cheapie bar: from Ryder at about R275, I think.

Okay. Seems I am a few years late to the party. I want to build a ss. (Also scared of gears after my crash) anybody have a frame that is in the way that they want to 'through out'? If it is a road frame, I have wheels, bb, chainring and cog. If it is mtb I will have to source everything.

I should be able to trade 6 cbc or jack blacks....

Same bar on the other one I did. This bike has been through a couple of incarnations. Got tired of waiting for the right seatpost, so decided to turn it into a sort big boy's - in a size small - cruiser BMX-type bike instead this weekend. Helluva fun to ride...

I am starting to get things together for a new SS MTB.

The fork is always my biggest "what will I fit?! " dilemma.

Causing sleepless nights, hours on the Internet and neglect of children.

Suspension or Rigid? What suspension or what rigid?

Nice suspension or Niner Rigid cost more than the bike!!

Anyway:

Can anyone point me as to where in the wonderful S-of-A do one look for a 29er rigid steel fork?
