Rob Mortimer Posted September 14, 2011 Share Spooning or choreic hand is flexion and dorsal arching of the wrists and hyperextension of the fingers when the hands are extended sideways palms down.[1][2]Spooning is a recognized clinical sign in pediatric neurology during standard evaluation of the posture with extended arms. Spooning is often observed in children up to the age of 5.[3]In older ages it is a clinical sign seen in children with chorea. Foxy, you do know we only messing with you..... Thumper Posted October 7, 2011 Share Interesting what Niner said about using a track chain.I used a 9 speed for a while and it was terrible. I'm now running a half link chain and loving it.Anybody else found this to be true?
TYGA Posted October 12, 2011 Share Mate of mine had continuous issues dropping a 9 speed chain on his SS...switched to a nice wide half link and no hassles since. In my opinion going through the the effort of finding a halflink chain so you can get rid of the chain tensioner is well worth it.

TYGA Posted October 12, 2011 Share You could probably also try BMX Direct..Schogn there is super helpful and can mail from JHB for about 50 bucks. http://bmxdirect.net/online-store/bikes-parts/chains/ You get a single half-link as well if you don't want to replace the entire chain...not sure about width compatibility issues. Ended up buying a different frame with horizontal dropouts before battling too much with the chain. Also, word of caution, the measure twice "cut" once addage applies. Be careful to get the length right when splitting the halflink...
