Would be great to get a reply! We are also on the do something random part. I am (trying to) teaching our little on how to read a map. To make it interesting we bought a world map that we mounted on a board. To keep the parents interested we decided to collect a stamp from every country in the world. One could use ebay and just buy one, easy peasy. But we wanted each stamp to have a story to tell. We have just posted a letter (handwritten) to President Obama asking if wouldnt mind sending us a USA postage stamp. I am sure we will get a reply, but most likely from one of his administrative staff who read his post - but it will be cool anyway. Long story short - I hope the owner of the photograph replies as it gives the photo more meaning.
