Only slightly... Joh. I've ridden some city bikes before, when I was in the UK. Handling so sharp you'd cut yourself. Not for the faint of heart. 

 

But there, as in NY and other big cities - if you're gonna be buzzing wing mirrors, you need the narrow bars.

worked as a cycle courier a good many years ago in CT ..... was actually a lot of fun.

 

the biggest item I couriered was a good old fashioned CRT monitor... that was interesting using a courier satchel.
