Just a little black and white pen scribble over a photograph of D because I'm glad to have him back after a long year of him working on his Pangolin project. I'll have to stop making Pangolin pictures soon, the family is starting to worry that I'll cut my own ear off one of these days!

I have just a few treasured 2D and sculptured pieces obtained over the years, and I'm fortunate enough that one of yours counts among them.  An old mate from those younger and wilder years, who is acknowledged for several of his large natural sculptures, visited SA and dropped in last month.  He was drawn to it right away.  Ek sê ma' net.

Interesting cycle lane solution.  Think I'll sell one of the seldom-used cars to finally visit that mate in Brooklyn.

The Walmer 'hood makes it easy to commute from with multiple cycle paths and wide pavements.  Two avenues near me have cycle paths on both sides on the way to the Baakens Valley trails.  Occasionally visitors, like those who left this morning, enjoy taking to biking to get around.  If only the kids would take a break to visit.

Well now  some folks strive to run 5 kms, some to cycle the 94.7, some to do a triathlon, some to achieve a degree, some to be good ppl and then there’s lily Philips.
