I like reflections, shadows and distortions of light making abstract patterns. This is the bottom of a whiskey coloured stream in the Cape mountains.

Looks good at 20"

I tried with 10", 15", 20" & 30".

Either too much light, too little, the phone was held at the wrong angle or the phone back light switched off.

I started at 9:55 and eventually started seeing results at 10:08.

The flash light (torch) was used to illuminate the dial/arms, then switched off while the camera timer started. Good fun while Eskom had other plans

My daughter, this was a very difficult shot to take.

Very dark, not enough light, sitting quite far away and having to zoom with an ISO of 1600.

This is the "opposite" of the fluid H2O one above, taken near Prince Albert in the Karoo. All angular and harsh and unyielding, but beautiful too.

No computer touch ups, some never fail to try and get the last word

Let's see, a raw image is just that, it's a raw image and will need post processing which gets done by using a computer program.

Then we get those who shoot in JPEG's, they boast as to how natural their image came straight out of the camera, but fail to understand that the built in software the camera does some "computer touch ups" by itself, completely out of your personal control.

I reckon the guys that develop film should also stop mixing chemicals and using different types of film to get the desired effect they are aiming at .
