Captain Fastbastard Mayhem Posted August 31, 2011 Share I can lend you a 180mm rotor and adapter while u wait. Shot bro, but I'll pass for the moment thanks. I'll use the 160 for the moment, and splurge on a new rotor and adapter if I need to. Is that Hobbes in the background? Are you Calvin? That's Tiger. He's my dog's pet. Loves the thing. And it cost half the price of one of those frikkin squeaky toys, and has so far lasted 3 times as long! Captain Fastbastard Mayhem Posted August 31, 2011 Share Why is that what you notice!? Love the rest mayhem, coming along nicely now. because he appreciates a simple, sustainable design! Built it last year from reclaimed laminated pine support beams. Was helluva bleached when I got it, and I had to get rid of approx 3 to 4mm of wood before the pine came out. Couldn't have done it without my electric planer...

I love woodwork, really enjoy it, once did almost the same thing with an electric sander. Not fun.

If you did that with an orbital - may the gods pity your long-departed soul... I finished it off with my belt sander, then an orbital. Didn't do anything other than that. No wax, sealant or varnish. It looks good just like it is, and we use coasters...

Zaskar09 Posted August 31, 2011 Share Orbital, built a pergola at the front door using old Meranti decking, 32 planks, 25mm x 50mm x 3.5m, gave up after plank 8 and took it to a woodshop to have it planed.
