Hey tumbles.

How is squamish doing?

Squamish was very doped up when I last saw him on Saturday, and will be staying at the vet until this Friday. I'll pop in today after work to see him again after seeing my mom.

It's amazing how the absence of one affects the others. It's a bit quiet without Squams around - although Scar is trying to make up for him! :cursing:

Jules is a tad out of sorts with him gone - she really does rule the roost - and unlike her normally aloof way of going about things, was a bit clingy this weekend...

These are my two babies.

Ellie on the left, and Impey on the right and in bed. I got him the day Daryl went into yellow at TdF so thought it appropriate :)

banna, it looks like the kitty is dreaming of performing a tuck off a springboard!

Haha! Ja, not any cat that can do a double back flip thingamajig in their sleep. :-) The funny thing is, she injured her tail very badly a few weeks ago, so we had to have it amputated, but that had absolutely zero impact on her athletic abilities. Her boet has no chance of keeping up!

I debated whether I should post this pic or not. I don't want Squamish to seem like some sort of oddity or curiosity. Finally decided I will post it, because you lot on this thread are such great animal lovers and I'd like you all to share in Squams's recovery. He'll beat this...

He was such a brave boy yesterday. He hadn't registered my presence when I saw him before then, but he certainly did yesterday. He pushed himself up when I walked into the room, but he settled back down when he realised I was there to stay for a bit.

Had a chat to Joe, the vet, and Squams may be home before Friday as originally planned... :-)

are you dogs friendly with your idiot neighbour? i.e can s/he get close to the dogs to do something like that?

these fur kids really are resilient - with love Squamish will be a happy 3 legged fur baby.

whoever did it - i hope they have a fast track date with karma and she's pms'y that day.
