These buggers are excellent escape artists. Ask me how I know. I had to fetch our rabbit numerous times from someone in the neighbourhood.

Ours passed away last month from the Calicivirus. By the time that I figured out something was wrong with her, it was too late.

Do I have a cat or a dog? My nephew and I walked in the park yesterday, juist across the street from my house. Our cat followed us all the way! At some point just strolling between us, Very cute

There is a guy in our area who walks his cat on a leash, on Friday I saw him playing with the cat on the grass patch that serves as the kids playground in our apartment block. It looks so funny as the cat was almost ignoring him like only a cat can.

Many years ago we had a bluecream Persian who went everywhere with us, even on a yacht for a few days. She didn't mind driving either. All our others HATED going anywhere. So, we decided she was just a happy fluke.

You get some strange/amazing cats.

I once adopted a feral kitten, and she turned into the most amazing animal. She did not mind water at all, got into the bath with me by herself, and made her comfortable on my chest. She swam with me (people at the pool almost got an heart attack when she jumped into the water to get to me.)

Worked with me on my car, drove with me everywhere.

She unfortunately drowned in a pond close to us when she went duck hunting. I was in tears for days.....

Here is our new baby...

She's stunning!!! May there be many many happy days and memories!!!

PS. Add babywipes (those cheap ones you get 3 packs taped together at Dischem) to every bag, car and picnic bag you own! Works like a charm to de-bulldog anything.

Marsie,  with her favorite ball. When I am home I get physically dragged outside to throw it about 5 times a day. If I don't  respond she pulls me by the sleeve.

So good to see Marsie well, I've been wondering, along with the story of Tumbleweed returning home after all that time - two of my favourite doggy moments on the hub.

Been rather sad of late, our office dog died on the 28th of June, Spottie was 13, I knew him for 10 of those years. Every time I go to the kitchen I expect to see him following me, I keep expecting him behind my chair, waiting for a pat or to have his brush

I keep thinking I hear his nails trotting up on the tile floors. :(

Marsie is very well. She is my wife's shadow, and fully recovered from having the knee tendons replaced on both knees.  She plays a good game of tennis, jumping to catch and return the (wet and gooie) ball to the throwers hand faultlessly, with each game about 10 minutes long until eventually she has enough and refuses to return it. The after 30 minutes of heavy panting she is ready for the next game.

Its always sad to lose a friend, but I hope you have already got the replacement office dog in training.

So sorry. It's never easy to lose any animal.

no, we have tortoises, ducks, guinea fowl running around the gardens and lots of other wild birds. it's a tad risky. the boss is a bit tentative about the nature of the dog not ripping into the animals. Spottie was an odd Jack Russel that way.

but maybe :)
