Even after three weeks, my two Pekingeses pups are not trusting the wild bundle of energy we brought into "their" house. The little Kitten, she is not fussed, just wants to play with them all the time.

Yeh Tigs doesn't seem to be too phased about our new family member either. Although he's been spending more time at home since yesterday, as if to say, "I was here first".

The puppy has already growled and barked at Tigs. Either she wants to play with the cat, or she's never seen a cat before.

New member to the family. An Africanis cross Shepherd pup we got today from a rescue organization.

We were going to wait until the new year to have a look at the SPCA, but the new plan was to get a puppy before Christmas.

Africanus have HUGE personalities. My vet was telling me when he was young and first practicing he couldnt understand why some people wanted them. As he got to know them more he now says he cant understand why anyone wouldnt want one!

Rigby

BIG name that! Rigby is a very highly respected gunmaker, originally started in Ireland in the 1700s, but London based since the 1800s. It is well known for building some of the most highly sought after double rifles and shotguns and collectable ones are often sold at auction for massive amounts. Their old world craftsmanship, beauty and reliability is very highly rated. It is also a name often used by owners of gundogs like pointers, setters and retrievers. (Like when you have a dog so beautiful and precious that you want to call it Purdey, but you know that Purdey is too girlie a name..... ;) )

Rough day. We lost this legend this morning.

Kerneels is the one on the right, yours truly on the left with the big grin. This was after a big rain squall caught us.

And having lost Dani earlier this year as well, it would be great if our other dogs would byt vas for a while.

So sorry to hear - ai, sad that we outlive our furry friends, and then at this time of year also...
