Audax

Going to be my first Audax on 24 March - 200k's from Procycles out on the East Rand.  I already have permission for LEL in August 2021 - 30 months to get ready for 1400k's.....plenty of time and lots of events listed on www.audaxsa.co.za.  I never had the resources before but now with my boet living in London the cashflow works :-)

LEL is a great event - did it in 2013 and loved it.

Thanks! Risky to follow me - I might be hopelessly lost (plus this stuff is seriously addictive!). I'm already scouting possible 2020 adventures ...

Pink slip signed! 400 is a go [emoji41]

Any other hubbers going?

If I could keep up with you, I'd be tempted to give this a go but it might be way too much for me as a fun rider

Obviously my plan would just be to sit on your wheel, otherwise I might go straight instead of turning right - again  :whistling:  :whistling:

Done a few 200s, never a 300. Planning on doing the one in June, but very aware of the cold weather.

Not certain if a 400 will ever happen.

FWIW - I find 400 one of the toughest distances, because it's still a 1 day ride. A 600 you split down into 2 parts in some fashion and get a rest in between. But 400 is a f@k of a long way to ride in one go ...
